She may not have won American Idol Season 11, but Jessica Sanchez is making a name for herself since last season ended and she returned to the Idol stage tonight to sing her new single “Tonight” with Ne-Yo on American Idol 2013. Jessica Sanchez’s new album is titled Me, You and The Music and from the sounds of this single it might be nothing we would expect from Jessica! If you all remember Jessica Sanchez from last season, she would often sing the big ballads and sing them quite well, She may be a tony little thing, but she has a huge voice. For her single “Tonight” she seems to have moved to the more upbeat side of things and I enjoyed it!

Last week on Project Runway Season 11, the designers were placed into teams of four and had to create new outfits for the Thunder From Down Under. As hot as the dancing was at times on the show, the clothes that came down the runway were anything but on fire. Dull looks from all the designers, but in the end Amanda was sent home.

It seems that Season 11 had such amazing singers and it is fun seeing them come back to the American Idol stage and perform in front of the new American Idol judges 2013. After his performance last night on American Idol 2013 Top 9, the American Idol judges 2013 praised Devin Velez and thought he had come back strong this week, especially after her finished in the bottom two last week on American Idol Season 12! Devin has been a strong guy singer this season, but that is coming from a season where the guys aren’t that strong of singers on American Idol 2013! Devin has been a decent singer in my eyes, but he seems to convey that emotion in a song so much better when he throws some Spanish lyrics into it. I have not been a huge fan of his when he does it, but these past couples weeks have made me miss the Spanish lyrics!

Even with the Top 9 on American Idol Season 12 performing last night, the American Idol 2013 ratings took a hit and saw even lower numbers than last week and this in a season where the American Idol ratings are not doing well in general! With March Madness starting for NCAA College Basketball, can American Idol 2013 hope for an increase in viewers tonight? Doubtful!

For the night, American Idol 2013 has 12.67 million viewers. That is down 8% from the Top 10 performances show last week! As things move on, shouldn’t the numbers get higher and higher as we get closer and closer to finding out who wins American Idol Season 12?
