The X Factor USA Season 2 Predictions: Top 6 Spoilers – Who Goes Home Tonight?

| December 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM EST

The tensions were high last night between the judges (Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and L.A. Reid) on The X Factor USA Season 2. With only six acts remaining, you know they are all fighting to have one of their acts win it all for The X Factor 2012. Each of the remaining acts took on two songs last night and then left it up to America to decide which two go home tonight during another double elimination on The X Factor Season 2. Check out my The X Factor USA Season 2 predictions and then come back tonight to find out who was eliminated on The X Factor USA 2012!

The six remaining acts (in the order they were ranked last week) are Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, Emblem 3, Fifth Harmony, CeCe Frey and Diamond White. The singers performed an Unplugged version of a song, which means it was them, the stage and some band players. These were raw performances and really showcased who can and cannot sing, which was obvious to me. The second performance was the Pepsi Challenge performance, which the song, staging and outfits were all picked by America. These were the normal, over-the-top performances we are used to on The X Factor USA 2012.

The X Factor Season 2 Top 6: CeCe Frey Performances (VIDEO)

| December 5, 2012 at 11:27 PM EST

CeCe Frey has had one big rollercoaster of a ride on The X Factor Season 2. She has been in the bottom two most of The X Factor USA 2012, but has made the cut a couple times, The judges have saved her many times and now here she is in The X Factor 2012 Top 6. She sang two more songs tonight in hopes of winning over your votes and making The X Factor Season 2 Top 4. You can check out CeCe Frey perform below during The X Factor Season 2 Top 6 performances.

For the first song, CeCe Frey does an acoustic version of “Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga. There was a time in this season that I did like CeCe and this was the reason why. I think she nails this performance and is a class act during it. She sounds great and I think it is good to just hear these singers sing and not have all the production going on around them on The X Factor Season 2. Check out her performance here:

The X Factor Season 2 Top 6: Diamond White Performances (VIDEO)

| December 5, 2012 at 11:25 PM EST

With The X Factor Season 2 down to the Top 6, the pressure is on for the remaining six acts. Tonight they took on two songs for The X Factor USA 2012, as they sang one performance chosen by the fans during the Pepsi Challenge. These songs, performances, clothes and everything were picked by the fans, so they should be happy! The second is an Unplugged song, where The X Factor 2012 Top 6 are stripped down and forced to just sing on The X Factor USA stage. Diamond White sang for survival last week, so she has to step it up tonight on The X Factor Season 2. Check out here performances below.

For her first song, Diamond White sang “It’s A Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown. She may have sang this song earlier in the competition, but I still loved this performance. She had to bring her A-Game tonight after being in the bottom two last week and I think she nailed it. It was an excellent vocal performance and she is so strong for being only 13 years old. The X Factor Season 2 Top 6: Fifth Harmony Performances (VIDEO)

| December 5, 2012 at 11:23 PM EST

One of the surprise acts left for me on The X Factor Season 2 is Fifth Harmony. I didn’t even want them to make the live shows on The X Factor USA 2012, but here they are now in the Top 6 and still going strong. This is a crucial week for them on The X Factor 2012, as they have never broken the Top 4 in the rankings, so they may be headed home on The X Factor USA Season 2. With two performances under their belt, it is now up to America to decide their fate. Check out Fifth Harmony perform both their songs on The X Factor Season 2 below.

For their first song, Fifth Harmony sang “Set Fire To The Rain” by Adele. Yes, these girls all have good voices, but they are a group and not individual singers. They never sing like they are a group and as much as Simon Cowell wants them to work, I just don’t get it. Five girls is too much on this stage and maybe knock one or two of them out of there and it could maybe work. Check out the performance here:

The X Factor Season 2 Top 6: Emblem 3 Performances (VIDEO)

| December 5, 2012 at 11:20 PM EST

The Top 6 on The X Factor Season 2 took the stage tonight and performed two songs for your votes America! The first song was picked by The X Factor USA 2012 fans, as part of the Pepsi Challenge. The whole performance was selected by the fans, so that should not disappoint. The second song is an Unplugged song, where the acts are stripped down and left with nothing to do but sing on The X Factor 2012. Emblem 3 makes all the girls go crazy, so check out their The X Factor Season 2Top 6 performances below.

For the first song, the boys played a guitar and took on Bruno Mars in “Just The Way You Are.” It was acoustic and all it did was prove to me why I have been falling more and more out of love with these guys every week. I think they want to be and Simon Cowell wants them to be another One Direction, but they non-brother is too creepy to be in a boy band. I think this was alright, but nothing special and they aren’t the greatest singers. Check it out here:
