The Top 4 on The Voice Season 3 took the stage last night for one single performance in hopes of winning over your votes. Three of the remaining singers (Cassadee Pope, Nicholas David, Terry McDermott and Trevin Hunte) will make it to The Voice Season 3 Finale next week, where they will sing for that recording contract and the title of The Voice. To me, there is a clear singer that should go home tonight on The Voice 2012, but you never know with America. Check out my The Voice Season 3 predictions and then come back tonight to find out who was eliminated on The Voice 2012.

Here we go. Carson Daly sprung some big new information on us last night on The Voice Season 3. All season long we have seen two singers leave us on the live results show. With only four singers left, that means two more go home this week and two sing in the finale…right? Wrong! The Voice 2012 is all about changes and in previous seasons it has been one singer from each team in the finale, so four singers total. This season it is all about having the “best” singers left on the show for the finale, so teams don’t matter and the two singers with lowest votes each week go home. Tonight it is only one singer, so we can have more performances to fill up The Voice Season 3 Finale time slot!

Terry McDermott has made a big name for himself this season on The Voice 2012 and he is one step away from making it to the finals of The Voice Season 3. He has brought a new voice to The Voice and we have the rock edge that did lack in the first two winners. Terry has a huge fan base and often hits the #1 spot on the Rock Charts of iTunes. It was Team Blake versus Team Cee Lo tonight, so check out how Terry did tonight on The Voice Season 3.

The last singer of the night tonight was Terry from Team Blake. We got to see him head back to New Orleans and surprise his son with his visit, which was nice to see. Then it is all about a surprise for Terry, as his aunt and uncle from Scotland surprise him! It was cute to see and it made me happy.

If you looked at social media and iTunes charts, Cassadee Pope seems like she is in full control of The Voice Season 3 and might be the obvious winner? She has a huge fan base and has even made it to #1 on the iTunes charts. It seems like things are lined up for her to win this season, but you just never know. Tonight the Top 4 on The Voice 2012 took the stage and only one singer will go home tomorrow before The Voice Season 3 Finale next week. Cassadee Pope gets to visit home in Florida and it lacked any emotion for me. She visited with her family and friends and then did a radio show and then performed live for the city. Was anyone else not moved by this home visit like we normally are with home visits?

Trevin Hunte won over fans on The Voice Season 3 from the minute he started singing during his Blind Audition. His voice is so powerful and has been a force to be reckoned with this whole competition. Does he have enough fan support though to win it all on The Voice 2012? Tonight he puts that to the test during the Live Semifinals of The Voice Season 3. Four singers remain, but will Trevin make the finals? Check out his performance from tonight and then come back tomorrow to see who was eliminated on The Voice Season 3.

With only one performance tonight, the Top 4 have to make it a great one. Before we get to see Trevin Hunte perform, we get a chance to look at him make a visit home to Pennsylvania. He has a family gathering, which of course brings tears to my eyes, and then he heads to his old middle school to talk to the students and help inspire them. It was all touching and bring me the tissues.

The Top 4 on The Voice Season 3 are all strong singers and each have an equal right to the title of The Voice for this season. Nicholas David is the one I am rooting for most. He is the face of what The Voice 2012 is supposed to be about…the voice. He would make music that people would make love to, like Barry White. It was Team Blake versus Team Cee Lo tonight on The Voice Season 3, so check out how Nicholas David did tonight in his performance videos below.

Three singers will make it to the finals next week on The Voice Season 3 and one of those singers, I feel, should be Nicholas David. He is downright amazing and just seems like a good guy all around. We got to see him head back to Minnesota and see the home that his family just purchased for the first time. He then went to the doctor with his wife and got to hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time…such a loving moment.
