The X Factor USA 2012 Tribute To Sandy Hook Elementary (VIDEO)
| December 19, 2012 at 10:30 PM ESTTaking a page from The Voice Season 3, Simon Cowell started the night on The X Factor USA 2012 with a special tribute to all the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting. He looked like he was struggling a little with his little speech and maybe even getting a little teary eyed? The Top 12 took the stage afterwards and sang “You Are Not Alone” by Michael Jackson. You can check out The X Factor USA Season 2 tribute to Sandy Hook below.
Here is my rant with this performance: I think that The Voice Season 3 kept it classy with the coaches singing with the singers from Season 3 behind them and joined by a children’s choir and holding up a card with the names and ages of the victims. It was short and sweet and simple. Then The X Factor USA 2012 takes the stage for their tribute and they had each act take on a little part of the song. They were all dressed in white, but some of their outfits were over the top and I hated that.
The X Factor USA 2012 Top 3: Tate Stevens Performances (VIDEO)
| December 19, 2012 at 10:23 PM ESTWith only three acts left on The X Factor USA 2012, tonight is a huge night for all of them. They all want to win that $5 million recording contract, no one else wants it more than Tate Stevens and I don’t think anyone deserves it more than him on The X Factor Season 2. He has been a superstar all season long and has battled with Carly Rose Sonenclar all season long on The X Factor USA Season 2 for that top spot in the rankings. Will it be battle between them two or will Fifth Harmony sneak up and steal it away? Check out how Tate Stevens did tonight on The X Factor USA 2012 below.
For the first song, Tate sang his initial audition, which was “Anything Goes” by Randy Houser. I loved this country superstar then and I want him to win so bad this season. He is an amazing guy and you can see the love he has for music and the even bigger love he has for his wife and family. He sang the song beautifully and just proved that he should win The X Factor 2012. Check out his performance on The X Factor USA Season 2 right here:
The X Factor USA 2012 Top 3: Carly Rose Sonenclar Performances (VIDEO)
| December 19, 2012 at 10:18 PM ESTCarly Rose Sonenclar has been one of the favorites all season long to win The X Factor USA 2012, but it all comes down to tonight’s performances and how America votes and you never know what they will do! Carly takes the stage with Tate Stevens and Fifth Harmony and one of them will win The X Factor USA Season 2, but who will it be? Check out how Carly Rose Sonenclar did tonight on The X Factor 2012 below and tell me if she deserves to win The X Factor Season 2!
She starts the night out by singing “Feelin’ Good” by Nina Simone. This is the song she first sang during her initial audition and at that time I could not believe that this girl was 13 years old! Here we are at the end of the season and I still can’t believe that this girl is 13 years old! The voice that comes out her little body is so seasoned and so controlled and so much soul. Yes, I’d love to see her perform a song that goes with her young age, but this is her strength and Britney Spears wants to win and stuck with Carly’s strengths. Check out Carly’s performance here:
The X Factor USA 2012 Top 3: Fifth Harmony Performances (VIDEO)
| December 19, 2012 at 10:13 PM ESTOne of the big shockers from last week’s The X Factor USA 2012 was when the first act told they were safe and headed to The X Factor USA Season 2 Finale was Fifth Harmony! Many people thought they were the underdog and headed home on The X Factor 2012, but their fans rallied around them and pushed them to the finale and sent Emblem 3 packing. Simon Cowell was shocked to see his boys go home, but he was happy to have his girls with him in The X Factor Season 2 Finale. Check out Fifth Harmony perform on The X Factor USA 2012 below and give me your thoughts.
Simon Cowell said this first song tonight was their defining moment this season, which was when they sang “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding. He said they took the lyrics and made them real life, as anything could happen and it did when they made the finale. I was not impressed with their first performance of this song and I thought they did a worse job tonight. How did you feel about it? Check out their performance on The X Factor Season 2 here:
Project Runway 2013: Michael Kors Replaced By Zac Posen For Season 11
| December 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM ESTIt looks like some changes are happening for Project Runway 2013, as they have announced that Michael Kors replaced by Zac Posen as judge for Project Runway Season 11! This is huge news because Michael has been a judge for all ten seasons, so this will be all new territory for the judges panel. When you think of Project Runway you think of Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors! Will it be the same without Michael Kors on Project Runway Season 11?
Don’t worry though, for now this is only a seasonal assignment for Posen. Kors is too busy with his personal schedule and has stepped aside for one season, but he will serve as a guest judge for the Project Runway 2013 Finale Runway Show! This means we won’t have to go a full season without Michael bringing his sass to the runway!
