Let’s call this one THE DUMBEST DECISION YET.
But before we get to Survivor… for all of those concerned, my cushions… are dry. Hallelujah. Such a big relief. You really don’t know how good you have it until you undergo a major crisis such as wet outdoor patio cushions. I didn’t even share that when I called Pottery Barn – I mean when my assistant, actually my free intern, called Pottery Barn – they said those cushions were not being made anymore. Say what?!!
I truly thought for a moment, “What am I gonna do?” But then like a gift from the Universe, the sun came out. That beautiful ball of heat, the most important part of our incredible solar system revealed itself to Southern California and those cushions… that were once so wet…miraculously dried. I still marvel at the power of nature.
Okay onto Survivor…and THE DUMBEST DECISION YET
RUSSELL: “HERE IT GOES AGAIN”
Admit it. Go on, admit it! You smiled when he found it. You turned to whomever you were watching with and said, “I don’t believe it. He found another idol!” I know I did. How can you not? It’s not Survivor if Russell isn’t looking, finding, or playing an idol. Now that he has it, this season is officially on, and things are about to change dramatically. How can they not, ‘ole Russell is now back in charge.

Get ready for the Top 12 to perform next week on Idol.
Check out americanidolnet.com for full commentary but in a nutshell:
Kaitlyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, Alex Lamber and Lilly Scott were voted out this week. Everyone seems to pretty much be in an uproar over this. Let me make a suggestion, if you don’t want to see your favs leave, you got to pick up the phone and vote for them as many times as you can.
You got the worsters out there voting for Paige and Tim so if you want to see your singer make it, you gotta make the call.
I actually felt bad for Alex Lambert and usually I get annoyed when people cry on stage like that but he is so young and did a better job than several of the guys still in the competition.
Oh well, it’s time to move on to the TOP 12. The contestants are singing The Rolling Stones so let’s cross our fingers and hope we have a couple of outstanding performances.
Last night on American Idol, judge Simon Cowell remarked that he’d like to see co-judge Randy Jackson in a bikini. We were creeped out, but apparently Randy wasn’t because here he is in his best bikini bottom.
Hmm, I bet Ellen might have another banana joke for this one…
Hat tip to reader Corri for the pic!
After another boring performance from the contestants this week we will see who makes up the Top 12. I’m really tired of hearing the same slow ballads from week to week. I’m like Killer K, bring on some rock!
American Idol 2010 should be called the year of the judges because that is where all the focus lies. The singers need to get it together or the judges will continue to steal their thunder as the weeks go by.
Simon’s mind seems to be elsewhere as his heart is not into the show anymore. Perhaps it’s his impending engagement or his new opportunity with the X Factor but he is lacking in his usual tirade of abuse.
Can Kara get anymore annoying with her incessant need to act like Paula Abdul? Now she is faking the tears? Come on Kara, I used to agree the most with your feedback but I can’t stand watching you fall all over Simon. It really is quite disgusting.
Randy and Ellen are both pretty much worthless as they repeat the same things over and over. I’m thinking Idol needs to wipe the slate clean and start over next season with a whole new panel. Perhaps that would create the fresh start they so desperately need with the coming absence of Simon.
Be sure to tune in tonight and see if your favs have made it into the finals and you can always join us at americanidolnet.com as we discuss it all live in the chat room.
