Before Jessica Simpson announced her pregnancy, Weight Watchers started shooting commercials for her as their news spokesperson and she joined forces with Jennifer Hudson for this new Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Simpson Weight Watchers ad. Jessica was paid big money to lose all the baby weight the first time around and had lost over 50 pounds when all of a sudden she is pregnant again. This whole story cracks me up because of the issues at stake. Jessica Simpson was signed by Weight Watchers after she delivered her daughter, Maxwell Drew. We all saw Jessica balloon up during her pregnancy and it seemed like she may have been having octuplets with how big her stomach got. It ended up just being a baby daughter, which then forced Simpson into having to shed all that baby weight. Weight Watchers took notice and signed her to a $4 million deal to lose all the baby fat, but of course doing it the Weight Watchers way.

There has been a lot of hype for American Idol 2013 and with less than two weeks to go for the American Idol Season 12 premiere, FOX has released a new promo video for American Idol 2013! You can check out the new promo video for American Idol Season 12 below, but it does get me excited for another season. It is a brand new American Idol, as Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest are the only returning members of the show. We have new American Idol judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban ready to take center stage, so don’t miss the promo below!

Like The Voice and The X Factor USA, we have to sit through many weeks of auditions before we actually make it to the live shows on American Idol 2013, but the auditions for Idol seem to be the highlight for many people. I am not one of those people. The auditions can annoy me and I just want to see who makes the Top 12, Top 13, Top 10 or however many they have this season. I am intrigued to see the new judges and, of course, the supposed tension between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. I think it is just over-hype for the show, but we shall see on January 16 when American Idol Season 12 premieres.

It is all about celebrating the past tonight on Top Chef Seattle as the chefs take on some of the most memorable dishes from the past ten seasons on Top Chef. There will be some familiar faces that return to the mix tonight as judges, so it should be an interesting episode. The chefs will be testing this knife skills in the Quickfire Challenge on Top Chef 2012 and then take on old dishes in the Elimination Challenge, but two chefs will be cooking for survival on Top Chef Season 10!

The competition is down to nine people and we see Sheldon sharpening his knives, which is a nice little way to give a preview of the Quickfire Challenge tonight on Top Chef 2013. The chefs head out to meet Padma Lakshmi, who is standing with guest judge and Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer in the Top Chef Seattle Kitchen. He makes custom knives, which sell for $500/inch! Sheldon said he would die for a Bob Kramer knife!

We all know that new additions have been made to The Voice 2013, as Shakira and Usher will find themselves in those big red chairs as The Voice Season 4 judges. Shakira will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Usher will be replacing Cee Lo Green on the judges’ panel, but it is not a full-time replacement, as Christina and Cee Lo are busy with their own projects and need a little time off. NBC has released new promo pictures for The Voice 2013 and you can see the new judges are fitting in real well with those big red chairs!

I can see why Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green needed some time off from The Voice Season 4, because it seems like Season 3 just ended and we are already talking about Season 4! The Voice 2013 kicks off on NBC on March 25, so we still do have time before we are back in the swing of things. Speaking of swing of things, it looks like Shakira and Usher are getting into the swing of things with NBC and The Voice. The new pictures have both the new coaches looking quite comfy in the chairs.

2013 didn’t get off to a great start for American Idol winner Kris Allen, as he was involved in a head-on crash that sent him and his pregnant wife to the hospital. Kris Allen was the winner of American Idol Season 8 and had a rough 2012, as he split from his recording label, RCA Records, and now was out trying to establish himself again and increase record sales. Kris Allen injured in car accident, but it is nothing that will keep him back from going out and performing.

The accident left Kris Allen with a broken arm while his wife was left with unspecified injuries. His mother tweeted out the picture above saying, “From Kris: he’s in a lot of pain, arm broke, may not play guitar for a while. Prayers welcome please! #headoncollision”
