American Idol 2012 winner is Phillip Phillips! Phillip Phillips was declared the music competition’s season 11 winner on Wednesday’s finale. He beat Jessica Sanchez after scoring the only standing ovation from the judges on Tuesday’s show.

Phillips’ win continues the trend of men coming in first on the series, which has happened every year since season 7 in 2008. He also managed to come out on top despite nearly being sidelined from the competition due to ongoing health problems. After the announcement Phillip, a fan-favorite from his very first audition on the season premiere, began singing his first single “Home,” but soon became overcome with emotion and was unable to continue. Dancing With The Stars 2012 winner is Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, video below. Dancing with the Stars has a new king and queen of the ballroom. Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd won the Mirror Ball trophy at the end of the season 14 finale on Tuesday.

The pair faced strong competition from Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas, who finished second. William Levy and Cheryl Burke came in third place. All three couples earned a 30 for their final dance, but only Jenkins and Ballas had a perfect 90 out of 90 total after both Monday and Tuesday’s performances. Click Here to Continue Reading »

American Idol 2012 Phillip Phillips gets only standing ovation during amazing finale performance, video below. Phillip Phillips made his final attempt at winning the “American Idol” crown on Tuesday. During part one of the show’s season finale, the former pawn shop worker performed three songs: “Stand By Me,” Billy Joel‘s “Movin’ Out” and “Home.”

The judges gave the last song, Phillips’ first single if he wins, the only standing ovation of the night. The singer’s performances were all the more remarkable as he has been plagued by health problems throughout the competition. American Idol 2012 Jessica Sanchez performs Whitney Houston during finale, video below. Jessica Sanchez set out on Tuesday to prove why she deserves to be the next American Idol. The 16-year-old performed three songs on part one of the season finale: Whitney Houston‘s “I Have Nothing,” “The Prayer” and “Change Nothing.”

“Change Nothing” will be Sanchez’s first single if she wins – though the judges didn’t think the song best suited her style. They did, however, love her take on Houston’s song, just as they did her rendition of “I Will Always Love You” earlier in the season. Click Here to Continue Reading »

America’s Got Talent Nick Cannon kicks contestant “Horse” in the crotch, video below. featured a rather unique act on Monday — a man who goes by the name “Horse”  and whose “talent” consists of him being repeatedly hit, smashed, and kicked in the nuts.

Horse, who proudly told the judges he has “two beautiful daughters at home,” was hit down there with punches, wood planks, and even cider blocks. Howard Stern told Horse, “You have come up with an act I can get behind of,” and crowned him “King of the Nut Shot.” Click Here to Continue Reading »
