The start of a new season of American Idol 2014 kicked off this past week on FOX and it brought new American Idol judges 2014. We had the return of Keith Urban from Season 12 and the return of Jennifer Lopez from Seasons 10 and 11. We had first-time judge (and previous guest mentor) Harry Connick, Jr. take the seat at the judges’ panel on American Idol Season 13. He is getting a ton of buzz for his role on American Idol 2014 and we want to know what you think: is Harry Connick, Jr. a good or bad judge for American Idol 2014? We all know how much of a mess the judges were on American Idol Season 12 and that showed in the huge decline in the ratings! It also brought on some huge changes for Season 13, including new judges, new producers and a new focus. It seems to not be all about these judges and their drama, like Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, but it seems like the new producers are focusing on the talent and the singers and how they show is our show America. I am loving the new vibe and I just wish people would start watching again because the ratings are not good for Week 1 on American Idol 2014.

Call it what you want, but I am pretty sure that networks are now going to record their shows and do no press/parties for it with all the drama that has been coming up because of recent comments, including The Bachelor Juan Pablo and his anti-gay comments he made at a recent party. When asked about a possible gay or bisexual Bachelor, the response from The Bachelor 2014 may shock some people (and disappoint). I have not been too fond of ABC and their choice of Juan Pablo as The Bachelor Season 18, but I think they may regret it after this interview! We all know that it takes more than a good voice to be named the winner of American Idol 2014 and a pretty face does not hurt you! The pretty faces are the ones that get the votes every week, especially if it is a boy! The tweens love voting for that cute guy and it looks like the American Idol judges 2014 may have found one last night at the Austin auditions on American Idol Season 13. Spencer Lloyd came in front of the judges and Jennifer Lopez gushed over how cute he was! Spencer Lloyd comes in and Jennifer is in love! She loves his eyes and his skin tone and everything about him, but Harry Connick, Jr. wants him gone because he can’t be upstaged by those eyes! He sings and he has a good voice. Harry said he has an okay voice, but he has an image that American Idol 2014 needs. Keith agrees, but Jennifer thinks he has an amazing voice to go with the package. Either way, they all say yes and Spencer is going to Hollywood!

The American Idol auditions 2014 continue tonight on FOX, as the American Idol Season 13 premiere heads into Night 2 of auditions and FOX is hoping for a better turnout tonight from the fans! Even with the addition of Harry Connick, Jr. and the return of Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez, the ratings on American Idol 2014 premiere were not the greatest and that upsets me! The show was great and I think people need to give the show and these American Idol judges 2013 a chance! So, follow along with our American Idol Auditions 2014 Recap and see the American Idol judges 2014 head to Austin to find talent there!

The American Idol Season 13 premiere seemed to focus more on the singers and more on the fact that this is America’s show. No more drama with the judges to focus on and this is a singing competition show and we should focus on the singers. These new producers seem to know what they are talking about, huh?

With no Project Runway on the schedule right now, it looks like Lifetime needs another show to fill the spot and bring us something on fashion design, so they have brought in the talents of Tim Gunn and his new show Under the Gunn 2014! Tim goes from mentor to host in this new reality competition show, which features some Project Runway favorites (Mondo Guerra, Nick Verreos and Anya Ayoung-Chee) as mentors for a team of four up-and-coming fashion designers. This is a competition for all on Under the Gunn Season 1 and you can check out a sneak peek of the season below in our Under the Gunn 2014 spoilers!

Under the Gunn 2014 is a different type of competition show, unlike Project Runway, where the mentors are helping guide the designers every week. They will go through different challenges and will be eliminated on a weekly basis. In the end, one designer and their mentor will both win! Tim Gunn will serve as host of the show and the judges will be designer Rachel Roy; celebrity stylist Jen Rade, creator of some of the most iconic red carpet looks in Hollywood; and TV fashion correspondent and Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.
