It has been talked about all season long and The Switch Up on Dancing with the Stars 2014 will happen tonight, as new couples on Dancing with the Stars Season 18 will take the dance floor for one week only! While the fans voted, many are complaining that the actual new pairings on DWTS 2014 are setup by the producers and the fans votes didn’t even matter! Last week on DWTS Season 18, the couples took on routines that represented the most memorable year in the life of the stars. You know what that means….lots of crying! This was a very emotional night, especially the routine between Amy Purdy and Derek Hough. Their contemporary routine was on fire and full of emotion and there was not a dry eye in the house! As far as the elimination for the week, we saw Billy Dee Williams announce that he had to remove himself from the competition, as his back pain was too much and the doctors ordered him to not dance for a while!

We are doing it all over again this week on American Idol 2014, as the Top 8 on American Idol Season 13 is still intact after the American Idol judges 2014 (Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.) finally used their save and kept Sam Woolf in the competition. Was it a smart move or no? Only time will tell, but let’s focus on Top 8 Week for the second time! What will the Top 8 on American Idol 2014 be singing this week? What a night we had on American Idol 2014 last night, as Ryan Seacrest gave us the American Idol results 2014 and we found out that Sam Woolf was in danger of going home on American Idol Season 13! However, he sang for survival and the American Idol judges 2014 (Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr.) decided to finally (unanimously) use their save! Last night on American Idol Season 13, it was another 30-minute results show and Ryan Seacrest had things moving along very quickly. I came into the night thinking C.J. Harris was going to be eliminated and no Judges’ Save used. He was in the bottom three, but Sam was announced as the person in danger of going home and I was shocked when the judges used their save on him. He is good, but worth saving? I don’t know. At the beginning of the season I would have said yes, but I haven’t seen real growth from him and thought he deserved to go home.
