Last night on Survivor Cagayan 2014, the castaways had a reward challenge which had them split into two teams and the winning team got a steak dinner. At that dinner, Spencer had a clue for the Hidden Immunity Idol. He was able to sneak the clue away and tried to go find it without anyone knowing. However, Woo is a fan of the show and knows they usually get a clue with the reward, so he followed Spencer and the chase was on for that idol.

Get ready for another night of performances from the Top 8 on American Idol 2014, but weren’t we saying the same thing a week ago??? Yup, but we all know that the American Idol judges 2014 (Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr.) used their save last week and the Top 8 on American Idol Season 13 return to take on the 80’s tonight! Last week on American Idol Season 13, it was a week of the Top 8 performing their original audition song again, as they brought it back to where it all began and sang the song that initially won the American Idol judges 2014 over! We saw some pretty good performances and some shined, like we thought they would. However, America voted and Sam Woolf was eliminated during the results show, but the judges did not think he was ready to go home yet and used their save on him! Was it the right choice?

I don’t blame them, as we have seen some wild Tribal Councils on Survivor Cagayan 2014 already, so you just never know if you are truly safe or not! Last week on Survivor Season 28, the final merge of the season happened and we saw Sarah get a little too cocky with where she thought she stood in the game. She thought she had her former Brawn Tribe on one side wanting her and her current Aparri Tribe wanting her on the other side. Problem was she got too confident and annoyed everyone, so Kass knew she was on the bottom and needed to make a move. Was it a smart move for Kass? Probably not, but it was fun for us to watch! Now Sarah is gone and Kass is left scrambling trying to pick up the pieces from the big move!

We saw the Playoffs on The Voice USA 2014 begin last night on NBC, as the five artists on Team Blake took the stage and performed for their coach, Blake Shelton. There were no live shows and no votes by America, but all five artists picked their own song and performed it for their coach. In the end, Blake had to pick three artists to move on to the live shows on The Voice USA Season 6 representing Team Blake. Sisaundra Lewis has been stellar all season long, but would it continue in the playoffs? Before joining The Voice USA 2014, Sisaundra toured five years with Celine Dion and then was a stay-at-home mom. She said this song reminds her of living in New York City and sacrificing so much for her kids. Blake does not want her to go all over the place with this performance and she doesn’t need to do it. She is beyond solid and Blake is lucky to have her on his team this season. How he landed her is beyond me, but he needs to keep her around. Her range is amazing and did show off the lower register on this one and was phenomenal!

We have a second week of seeing the Top 8 on American Idol 2014 taking the stage and performing for your votes, but this time the American Idol judges 2014 (Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.) have to sit back and hope America votes right this week. Did they make the best choice in using the save on Sam Woolf last week? I guess we will find out this week during the results show on American Idol Season 13! For the second installment of Top 8 Week, I think we have a fun week ahead of us! We announced the Top 8 theme earlier this week, which should be a blast to watch. I mean, who doesn’t love the ’80s??? It is funny, but none of these finalists on American Idol 2014 were even born yet when these songs hit the airwaves. However, the ’80s gave us some great and crazy songs, so I am excited to see what they take on tonight! What would you like to see the Top 8 on American Idol Season 13 sing tonight?
