We saw the second results show on American Idol 2014 for the Top 8 on American Idol Season 13, as the American Idol judges 2014 (Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr.) used their save last week and kept Sam Woolf in the competition. No saves available this week, so whoever Ryan Seacrest announced as the bottom contestant would be headed home! Last night on American Idol Season 13, we had another half-hour results show, but this one went so much more smoothly. There was no guest performer and the results did not feel rushed by Ryan Seacrest. No performer and no judges’ save could mean a much more smooth 30 minutes, but we all know the producers will change it up and bring a performer in when they can. Last night on Hell’s Kitchen Season 12, the chefs faced a challenge of remembering where ingredients were in a memory game! They matched them with a protein and had 30 minutes to create dishes for Chef Gordon Ramsay. The women continued their dominance, as they won their third challenge in a row and forced the men into making honey taffy from scratch! Afterwards, the men had a bonding moment and felt tight.

Last night on American Idol Season 13, the Top 8 were delivered the results, but knew the end results were it and no saves by the judges this week. We had no special performances for the night and I liked that. They showed a video for the Ford commercial, but that was it. It was all about the results and I think it went a lot smoother and not as rushed when a special guest performer is there!
