Another week has passed us by on American Idol 2014 and it looks like we are down to the Top 5 on American Idol Season 13. Only five contestants remain and one of them will be the winner of American Idol 2014, so this is getting real now! The American Idol judges 2014 (Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.) seem to be impressed with the remaining finalists, but can they keep it going with the Top 5 performance theme this week? The Top 5 will be hoping that America is nice to them, as the theme for Top 5 Week will be “America’s Request,” as Ryan Seacrest mentioned on the show a few weeks ago. TV Line has spoiled it and you were out tweeting your #IdolRequest votes and now the Top 5 were given a short list to pick from to perform this week on American Idol 2014.

We saw Brendon & Rachel make a move last week on The Amazing Race 2014 that did not sit well with the other teams on The Amazing Race All Stars 2014 and now we see the aftermath start tonight on The Amazing Race Season 24. I get that this is a competition and they all want to be the winner of The Amazing Race 2014 and take that $1 million prize home, but at what stakes do you go to win? Last week on The Amazing Race All Stars 2014, the teams were faced with the Double U-Turn. Brendon & Rachel wanted to get to it first and use it on Jet & Cord, who had the Express Pass to use that week. They wanted to guarantee a victory for that leg of the race and that was their plan. However, they got to the U-Turn and knew Connor & Dave were right behind them, so they U-Turned them. This did not sit well with them, as all the teams have been helping each other this season and they expected it here. In the end, it did not matter, as Flight Time & Big Easy started off the leg in last place and never moved up and were eliminated!

We got to double-dip in the performances on American Idol 2014 this past week, as the Top 6 on American Idol Season 13 took on two songs for the night and paid homage to Marie and Donny Osmond and went a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll! One rock song and one country song for the Top 6, which seemed like it could be a good fit for all of them for at least one song. It is crazy to think, but after the American Idol results 2014 last night were delivered by Ryan Seacrest, we are down to just five contestants left on American Idol 2014! The Top 5 on American Idol Season 13 are so close to being named the winner of American Idol 2014 they can probably taste it. Last night on American Idol Season 13, we saw Top 6 Week come to an end, but not before Ryan Seacrest had one more chance of bringing Grumpy Cat out for the cameras. Why the obsession with that damn cat this week? Anyway, we had our normal results show of seeing the contestants eat and chat about the performances after the show. We saw the Ford video showcasing one of their cars. Then it was time for the results and Randy Jackson giving his feedback on all of the performances and what he thinks will happen and who would be or would not be safe.

Last night on Hell’s Kitchen Season 12, the chefs were first faced with a challenge of creating gourmet pizzas with guest judge Wolfgang Puck! They were all excited to have him taste their food, but it seemed like Anton and Richard were the only chefs that impressed either of the judges and helped lead the Blue Team to victory.
