Celebrity Apprentice 2012 fires Lisa Lampanelli in double elimination. Five contestants were present at the beginning of last night’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, but only three made it through until the end. This week, the celebrities were tasked with creating a four-page ad extolling the virtues of a hair dryer, the teams spent most of their time arguing over models and encouraging the sexual advances of red cowboy-boot-wearing CEO Farouk Shami.

After Unanimous project manager Teresa Giudice was outmaneuvered in her model negotiations by Lisa Lampanelli, and then allowed every single decision to be made by Aubrey O’Day, she was fired. Fifty Shades of Grey read by Ellen Degeneres, video below. Ellen wonders if she should paraphrase the book’s racier scenes. At one point she even says “I don’t think he should use a spatula for that.  If you go to Anastasia’s house don’t eat the pancakes!”

Fifty Shades of Grey Mother’s Day parody on SNL, video below. Saturday Night Live mocked the “Fifty Shades of Grey” phenomenon that’s captivated Hollywood and the rest of America. In a parody Mother’s Day commercial for Amazon.com, moms are surprised by their gift-giving spouses and kids as they’re getting all sexed up reading the erotic novel.

The funniest moment of the night hands down was the Amazon commercial. In the skit, fathers and kids are purchasing Mother’s Day gifts for mom on Amazon. They surprise her with them, but find her in an uncomfortable position. Yes, mom has purchased the paperback version of the erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” and they’re not exactly pleased with the intrusion. This proves exactly why you want to get mom a Kindle this Mother’s Day.

Bachelor host Chris Harrison and wife call it quits. Harrison and Gwen Jones have been married since 1993. They have two children, who they are dedicated to raising together. In a joint statement, the couple says, “Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children.”

“The Bachelorette” returns on May 14 with 25 guys vying for Emily Maynard’s heart. Harrison got his start hosting HGTV’s Designers’ Challenge before joining The Bachelor. American Idol 2012 Skylar Laine eliminated, video below. Skylar Laine was shockingly eliminated on Thursday’s show, after receiving the lowest amount of votes. That means just Hollie Cavanagh (who was also in the Bottom Two), Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, and Jessica Sanchez remain in the competition.

In true Southern style, the spit-fire singer went out with guns blazing, leaving the show with a performance of Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder and Lead” and just happy to be embraced by people from her neck of the woods. “I’m so happy that the South was rooting for me,” Laine explained to MTV News. “Country fans were rooting for me. That’s all I want. All I want is a country group. Winning would have been great, but I just want to make an album. I want people to buy it. I want to be on the radio.” Click Here to Continue Reading »
