Britney Spears confirmed today that she is leaving The X Factor USA, whether it was a voluntary departure or she got fired is still up in the air, but now rumors have Britney is in the works to headline a show in Las Vegas! Maybe that is why she did literally quit The X Factor USA 2012? Nothing is confirmed, but it seems people in Vegas are trying to woo her for a Britney Spears Vegas show. Would you go see it?

All the talk in the news seems to be about Britney Spears, whether it is her leaving The X Factor USA or her being in the studio recording her eighth album and working with will.i.am on that album or her now split with fiance Jason Trawick! 2013 is kicking off to be quite an interesting year for Britney, so I am very intrigued to see where it goes from here.

If you want a show to stay fresh and strong in the rating they have to make changes and that is what Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe is trying to do with American Idol Season 12 spoilers and bring back some of those American Idol fans that have not been tuning in the past few seasons. One of those changes could be taking a page from The X Factor USA 2012, as it looks like American Idol 2013 is going t reveal the voting results each week during the live shows. Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian did it every week for The X Factor USA Season 2 and now it looks like Ryan Seacrest will be doing it for American Idol Season 12.

We are all familiar with American Idol showing the bottom three singers every week. A new thing The X Factor put into place this past season was revealing how the remaining singers all ranked in the votes. Yes, Tate Stevens may have been safe, but where did he finish among all the voting that week? It was an interesting bit of information and could prompt people to get out and vote, which may have helped Fifth Harmony in making the finale.

If you were missing Survivor, don’t worry because Survivor Caramoan 2013 will debut on CBS before you even know it, even though it seems like Survivor Philippines 2012 just ended! CBS announced the new Survivor Season 26 cast and as host Jeff Probst said on the finale, it will be another edition of Fans vs Favorites. Survivor Caramoan 2013 has started shooting and we are about to see some familiar faces make their return and even a super familiar face as Malcolm from Survivor Philippines will be back for another chance at the $1 million prize!

Two of the Favorites returning on Survivor Fans vs Favorites share a common bond: both gave up their immunity necklace only to be voted out by their tribe members! Erik Reichenbach was one of the Fans during the first Fans vs Favorites season, but now he returns as a Favorite. Brandon Hantz, nephew of Survivor villain Russell Hantz, also gave up immunity to only be voted off and the born-again Christian tries his hand at Survivor 26 again.

Well it seems that The X Factor USA might be in need of two new judges for Season 3, as reports are going out that Britney Spears quits X Factor Season 3. Reports were already saying that Britney Spears fired as The X Factor 2012, but now her camp is claiming she is too busy to come back. It has been a busy off-season for The X Factor USA Season 3, as L.A. Reid quit and now Britney? That is two judges spots to fill for Simon Cowell or maybe even three because no word on Demi Lovato has come out yet.

Britney Spears is working on a new album right now, so her reps are claiming she is focused on that and does not have the time to do The X Factor USA 2012 any more. While that seems fine and dandy, this is what a source recently told Yahoo! Music: “Simon [Cowell] and the producers have already been discussing this year’s new judging lineup over the holiday, and they have a plan for who they would like already, but Britney has never played a part in those discussions. The reality is that toward the end of last season, the main players at the production companies knew they wanted to replace her. She was always a gamble, and a second season always seemed unlikely. She and her team knew it was unlikely that she’d be asked back.”
