For the first time in Hell’s Kitchen history, Chef Ramsay put the seven remaining chefs to an individual challenge. They had 45 minutes to create their best dish and the best dish would win immunity for the next dinner service, no matter how the service went!

All the American Idol 2013 spoilers were announcing that all four of the American Idol judges 2013 would not be back for Season 13 and it appears we are three-fourths of the way there, as Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have both confirmed that they are leaving American Idol and will not return for American Idol Season 12. Randy Jackson has already confirmed it, so it is down to Keith Urban. Will he be back? Is anyone surprised by this information?

It is time for the seven remaining chefs on Hell’s Kitchen 2013 to compete in one of my favorite challenges on Hell’s Kitchen: the Blind Taste Test! Chef Gordon Ramsay puts their senses to the test, as they are blindfolded and ears covered and given a sample of food to taste! This would be such a hard task to do, which is why I love this challenge on Hell’s Kitchen Season 11! We saw the Blue Team lose another challenge on Hell’s Kitchen 2013 Season 11 last week, even with the addition of Nedra. She was looking for a change, but her new teammates did not want her on their team and was their a secret sabotage going on against her? She played a big part in her team getting kicked out of the kitchen during dinner service, but the Red Team was kicked out as well. Chef Ramsay was not impressed by Nedra and sent her home!

CBS is making it’s attempt into the cooking reality shows, as they premiered their new show The American Baking Competition 2013 and gives amateur bakers a chance to win $250,000 and their own cookbook! That is a huge prize, especially for amateur chefs. The American Baking Competition 2013 is hosted by Jeff Foxworthy and is a chance for CBS to compete against MasterChef 2013 Season 4 on FOX. Will it survive though? Check out our American Baking Competition 2013 Recap and see what you think and what we think!

Things start out and we take a look at some of the contestants, that include a firefighter, a farmer and from a law office. Each week the contestants will compete in three different bakes: a signature dish bake, a technical bake (all given the same recipe, but with some ingredients missing) and the showstopper (which is their last chance to wow the judges). The judges are Marcela Valladolid and Paul Hollywood. Each week they will pick a star baker and one baker will go home!

Last week on Hell’s Kitchen 2013, we saw Nedra volunteer herself to join the Blue Team, which seems doomed to never win again! She wanted a change of scenery and the guys needed some help, even though they were not happy to have her join their team. It did not help, as they lost the challenge again and were stuck prepping the kitchen and unloading the wine delivery! Both teams were kicked out of dinner service, but in the end Chef Ramsay sent home Nedra and the change of scenery did not help her out!
