The America’s Got Talent 2013 auditions kicked off last night on NBC and we saw some talented acts take the stage, including the dance team called Catapult, but haven’t we seen this before on AGT? Don’t get me wrong. I think Catapult was very talented on AGT 2013 last night, but I have seen this act before from The Silhouettes on America’s Got Talent Season 6, right? Here are my thoughts: while they were a talented group and I love this dancing behind the screen and making all these images, I feel we have seen it before and it only led to a runner-up status during Season 6. I feel there was nothing special or unique about this audition or dance crew.

We are only a couple weeks away from finding out who wins The Voice USA Season 4 and while five acts are now fighting for that title, NBC and The Voice 2013 celebrated Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope and her new single “Wasting All These Tears.” There is a lot of love for Cassadee and her victory and I think NBC is hoping to finally get a true star winner. Cassadee kicked some major butt on the iTunes charts while she was a contestant on The Voice and has built an amazingly strong fan base, which helped lead to her victory. That fan base is still there, as her new single went to number one on the iTunes charts yesterday as well!

One thing about the America’s Got Talent 2013 auditions is they always tend to find some of the most unique and crazy-talented people out there, which happened with Anna Christine on AGT 2013 last night! If you closed your eyes and just listened to her sing you would have no clue that this girl is only ten years old!!! That is insane! For her America’s Got Talent 2013 audition, Anna sang “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals. She sits down at the piano and belts out an amazingly good audition. It amazes me how some people can be so talented at such a young age.

We’ve been hearing about it for months now, but it is finally time for us to get a chance to see the start of the America’s Got Talent Season 8 auditions as America’s Got Talent 2013 premiere kicks off tonight on NBC. We have Howard Stern and Howie Mandel back in their chairs at the judges’ table, but replacing Sharon Osbourne on AGT 2013 are both supermodel Heidi Klum and Spice Girl Mel B. Watch the AGT Season 8 premiere with us during our America’s Got Talent 2013 Live Recap tonight!

Besides the new judges on AGT 2013, we can expect some other changes for Season 8. The big one: the live shows will be broadcast from Radio City Music Hall in New York City and not from Las Vegas like seasons past! That is a big one, but probably because of the busy personal schedules of all four of the judges.
