NBC created some buzz last week on The Voice USA Season 5 when they showed a preview of Briana Cuoco, the sister of The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, and how she was auditioning for this season on The Voice USA 2013. Well, they didn’t show the blind audition last week, but it did finally air last night and time to find out how her sister did! It was a night of even more talent joining teams on The Voice Season 5 last night, as Team Christina has eight artists and Team Blake, Team Adam and Team Cee Lo all have seven artists each. Would Briana Cuoco make a team? Here is the deal: she may have used her sister’s name and star power to get an audition on the show, but then it is a blind audition and the coaches are basing it solely on her voice.

Last week on DWTS Season 17, we saw the couples take on Latin Week. There were plenty of spicy dances and some spicy scores to go along with it. We have made it to Week 2 of The Voice USA Season 5 blind auditions and NBC saw some great ratings for The Voice Season 5 premiere week. The return of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green drummed up enough attention to bring the ratings up, but I also believe people wanted to tune in and see the slimmer Christina! The blind auditions on The Voice USA 2013 keep them around though, as we have seen some amazing singers take the stage so far. Watch for even more tonight during our The Voice USA Season 5 Recap!

After last week ended on The Voice USA Season 5, we had Team Adam with five artists and Team Blake, Team Cee Lo and Team Christina with four artists each. The previews for Week 2 show us that the coaches are gunning for Blake Shelton this season, as they should be! He has won three seasons in a row and now they seem determined to knock him off that pedestal!

We have arrived at Week 3 on Dancing with the Stars 2013 and it looks like we could have our first injury of the season that could end someone’s run for the Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars Season 17. Bill Nye appears to have injured his knee big time and he may even need surgery!
