Last night on Hell’s Kitchen Season 12, the chefs were put to the task of putting together dinner service for the 160th anniversary party of the Phi Mu sorority. The ladies were all in attendance and wanted some Southern cooking on the menu. Kashia was excited to hear that, as that is her specialty. As much as it was her specialty, her dish lost in the challenge and then she could not cook fried chicken properly and pretty much lost the dinner service for the Red Team.

Last night on American Idol Season 13, we saw the Top 5 take on songs that were picked for them by America. Song choice is always crucial, so leaving it in America’s hands with only five contestants remaining was a huge deal. They all handled it well, especially Caleb Johnson. He closed the night with an amazing performance and should be safe tonight because of it, but we have seen crazier things happen on American Idol and the result shows!

The time has come for another episode of Hell’s Kitchen 2014 and it looks like Chef Gordon Ramsay is turning things over to the Phi Mu sorority tonight on Hell’s Kitchen Season 12. It is Sorority Night and the chefs on Hell’s Kitchen 2014 (well, the men and maybe some of the women) will be a little distracted! Last week on Hell’s Kitchen Season 12, the chefs were put to the test of making pizzas! You would think that Pizza Night would be an easy test for these chefs, but both sides of the kitchen struggled. Bev and Kashia could not get it together in the Red Kitchen and Chris and Scott could not get it together for the Blue Kitchen. It got so bad for the Blue Team that they ran out of dough and still had pizzas to serve! Needless to say, the Blue Team lost and Chef Ramsay shockingly sent home Chris! I thought he was going to make it far thisseason.

When you are down to the Top 5 on American Idol 2014, every performance matters and the pressure is so high for these contestants on American Idol Season 13. Song choice is huge, but when it is America’s Request for the theme, they really don’t have much to work with, right? Caleb Johnson has been a standout all season long and that did not change last night on American Idol 2014! For his first song, he sings “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith. Jason Mraz said he has an iconic sound that is all his own. Caleb said this is an iconic song and Jason tells him to learn it from top to bottom and wants to see him open up and tell the story. America decided to slow it down for Caleb and I was not impressed. He hits some good notes and has some strong vocals, but I want him to rock out.
