Khloe Kardashian opens up about body image, trying to get pregnant with husband Lamar, and dealing with mom slash manager Kris Jenner’s criticism in the May issue of Cosmopolitan. On Jenner calling her out for gaining weight, the reality star offers, “Listen, my mom believes in us more than we believe in ourselves. But she is also our manager and trying to protect our brand.”
“She’ll say, ‘Oh, you’re a little too fat right now.’ If she were just my manager, I’d have fired her right then. Dancing with the Stars celeb Jaleel White had a seriously bad rehearsal session with pro partner Kym Johnson on Friday — leading to a “heated” confrontation in which Mark Ballas and show producers eventually intervened, an insider tells Us Weekly exclusively.
The Family Matters alum “flipped out,” the insider says, after he accidentally stepped on Johnson’s foot. When Johnson, exclaimed “ouch” over his blunder, the insider says, White “got in her face,” and chastised her for “acting like a baby . . . He was shouting at her, calling her an ‘idiot.'” As Johnson momentarily left the studio in tears, fellow celeb competitor Donald Driver overheard the commotion and “tried to calm him down,” the insider says. The Voice 2012 live shows begin with Team Christina and Team Blake. The Voice took the competition to another level Monday. Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera’s teams went head to head in the first live show of the season. The fates of each of the 12 performers are now in the hands of viewers, whose votes and iTunes purchases will determine which sings are sent home during Tuesday’s elimination show.
In what might have been the night’s boldest move, one of Shelton’s contestants, 17-year-old RaeLynn, put a country spin on Maroon 5’s “Wake Up Call”, a move that earned high marks from the song’s original singer, Adam Levine. “RaeLynn, you broke my heart twice,” Levine told her. “You broke my heart when you didn’t pick me, and then you broke my heart again today when you did our song and you did it so darn good.” Shelton also said RaeLynn was mentioned at the ACM awards.
