X Factor signs Demi Lovato deal to be new judge. Demi Lovato has reportedly signed a deal to become a judge on The X Factor. She’s expected to be introduced in her new role at the FOX network upfront presentation in New York on Monday, according to TMZ. A week and a half ago, we reported that Lovato was in deep negotiations to become the fourth judge.
It’s expected that Britney Spears will also be introduced as an incoming judge, joining Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. Judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul left the show after its inaugural season last fall. There has not been an official comment about the deal as of yet, but stay tuned. American Idol eliminates Hollie Cavanagh, Top Three are revealed. Hollie Cavanagh, who received mixed reviews from the judges last night, was eliminated after receiving the lowest amount of votes. Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, and Jessica Sanchez will move on to the next stage of the competition – the annual “hometown visits.”
First person to be cleared for the top three was Jessica. The second to be a part of the final three was Joshua. Then it was down to Phillip and Hollie, awaiting their fate. And after a regular position in the final three, week after week, followed by a comeback of major proportion, Hollie was sent home and Phillip remained in good standing. The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev uses Conan O’Brien’s crotch for yoga pose, video below. Late night television got a huge kick of humor when Dobrev showed up to the Late Night with Conan O’Brien set. Not only did she show off her vampire teeth, but The Vampire Diaries beauty also offered to show the late night Conan host a yoga pose if he’d agree to serve as her “wall.”
O’Brien obliged, and Dobrev’s feet wound up nestled in his crotch to complete the “scorpion” pose. An extremely pumped-up O’Brien declared, “Best job in the world!” The other guests, including Joel McHale were in hysterics. “This is awesome,” laughed McHale.

Adam Levine premieres Maroon 5’s Payphone music video, watch below. The Voice coach went behind the scenes with E! News tonight before premiering the official music video for the bands new hit song, Payphone. The Maroon 5 frontman gets to be both in the band’s brand-new “Payphone” music video, which also features the tune’s resident rapper Wiz Khalifa as both the owner of the snazzy convertible Levine steals for a getaway car.
The video plays out as a flashback that starts with a beleaguered Levine torching his ride and dialing his lost love from said Payphone. Then you find out how his shy, bespectacled bank worker managed to save a hot, similarly bespectacled coworker from a horde of machine gun-toting bank robbers. But—tragic twist!—the cops mistake him for one of the bandits, and Levine ends up solo as he leads police on a high-speed chase.

Survivor One World women smackdown makes survivor history. Kat, the 22-year-old timeshare rep from Florida, was eliminated from the game, just minutes after she grinned and told host Jeff Probst that blindsides were exciting. She left in tears after her torch was snuffed out, and cried through her final statement, saying she was embarrassed by her ouster.
Kat was in trouble ever since the last Tribal Council, when the ousted Troyzan cast suspicion on her loyalty when he stopped to whisper in her ear before having his torch snuffle.
