This is the final week of Battle Rounds on The Voice Season 3 and thanks to the Presidential Debate starting at 9pm tonight, NBC only aired an hour of The Voice 2012. As we get down to the final few battles, it is fun to see what else the coaches and singers can bring to the table. One of the people I was excited to see perform in a battle was Cassadee Pope, but NBC let me down on that one!

You see, NBC increased the number of acts on each team this season to 16. Because of that, they have felt the need to quickly go through some of the Battle Rounds, which upsets me. One of those battles they decided to go fast through was Cassadee. The Voice Season 3 made a huge deal about Cassadee during her Blind Audition and it looks like this girl has a lot of talent and I wanted to see more of her. Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson picked their team last week on Dancing with the Stars All Stars to perform the very first Team Freestyle Dance the show has ever seen. Team Call Me Maybe was formed for Guilty Pleasures Week on Dancing with the Stars 2012 and they would, of course, be dancing freestyle to the huge hit from Carly Rae Jepsen “Call Me Maybe.”

Team Call Me Maybe on Dancing with the Stars All Stars consists of Derek and Shawn, Melissa (who was hurt yesterday in camera blocking) and Tony, Sabrina and Louis and Apollo and Karina. The teams had free reign on what they wanted to do and since they felt the other team would go with a more comedic routine, they decided to go with a more technical routine. That could come to bite them in the ass, as they struggled over and over again to get it all right. I guess Britney Spears and Demi Lovato being on The X Factor Season 2 brought enough ratings to the show to get FOX to renew it for Season 3 already! Simon Cowell and FOX have announced that The X Factor 2012 has been renewed for a third season, but will Britney and Demi be back?

The X Factor 2012 fired Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger after the end of Season 1 after poor ratings. They went big when adding Britney and Demi and it seems to have paid off, as ratings have averaged 10.6 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in the 18-49 demo. Tom Hanks drops F-Bomb on Good Morning America, which just goes to show even the morning talk shows can get a little wild. Hanks was there to promote his new movie Cloud Atlas and during the interview things got a little crazy, but you can’t blame it on the mic issues they were having. Hanks went into the accent from the movie and forgot where he was and dropped the F-Bomb on live TV.

During his interview on Good Morning America, Elizabeth Vargas asked Hanks to talk in the accent that he uses in his new movie Cloud Atlas. He said he could do it, but it would be tricky because in the movie “mostly, it’s swear words.” Well, Hanks proved himself to be correct because once he broke into the accent he let out an F-Bomb! Big news out of the Dancing with the Stars All Stars arena: Melissa Rycroft was injured today at rehearsals and sent to the hospital in an ambulance! The All Star dancers were rehearsing their group routine for tomorrow’s Dancing with the Stars 2012 episode and Rycroft suffered a head and neck injury.

All the dancers will be doing a Team Freestyle routine tomorrow on Dancing with the Stars All Stars and they were doing camera blocking for the group number when she fell. Her reps released a statement to People Magazine that said: “Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined. She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani. Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time.” Click Here to Continue Reading »
