The American Idol 2013 season kicked off last night and the American Idol auditions 2013 got started with a bang and with new judges. The ratings may have been down, which I am quite certain has the executives at FOX squirming in their seats, but the two-night premiere continues tonight for American Idol 2013. FOX claims the tension between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey builds more and more tonight, but we shall see. Things did get heated last night on the American Idol 2013 premiere, but the new American Idol judges 2013 seemed to keep it under control for now. How long will that last? Tonight the judges head to Chicago and it looks like the contestants are the ones who need to keep it together. Swearing and yelling at cameramen to get out of their faces! It should be an interesting night, that is for sure. We also will get to see one of the amazing talents that Idol has been promoting all winter long. Lazaro Arbos has a stuttering problem, but apparently sings like an angel. It looks like Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique have a couple things to look forward to in 2013: not only will Shakira start as a new coach on The Voice 2013, but they will also welcome their first child together! The happy couple tweeted out the picture below of their take on the naked baby bump picture that most pregnant women seem to take nowadays thanks to Demi Moore way back in the day! The Voice Season 4 coach looks exceptionally beautiful and pregnancy is definitely treating her well, as it is her how boyfriend, right?

Unlike other celebrities who look for the big bucks to pose for a magazine cover and do the whole photo shoot thing, Sharkia and Gerard kept it classy and just took a simple black and white photo and sent it out through Shakira’s Twitter account. While Shakira does have the naked baby bump going on, she opted to wear the bikini top and not cover up her boob with her hand, like most pictures. Gerard goes with the shirtless look as well and I thank Shakira for that idea!

When the American Idol 2013 auditions take place it seems that in order to make it on the show you need some kind of sad, gonna make you cry background story that will make people want to see more of you on American Idol Season 12. Well, Evan Ruggiero brought that exact story to his American Idol 2013 audition, but would the new judges on American Idol think his voice matched that great story or would he go home packing his bags? Evan Ruggiero has the looks that would get the girls voting for him on American Idol Season 12 that is for sure. He has been dancing for almost 17 years now and started out dancing when he was 5 years old! So, why is he auditioning for American Idol and not So You Think You Can Dance? Did he go to the wrong location? Nope, he started doing musicals in college and fell in love and discovered his love for singing.

With the American Idol 2013 premiere kicking off last night, we finally got a chance to see some of the American Idol Season 12 auditions take place. All the hoopla and hype was about to be shown onscreen and I was happy to see the new crop of singers on American Idol 2013 and I was excited to see how the new American Idol 2013 judges worked together. One of the highlights of the night was the Gurpreet Singh Sarin audition for American Idol 2013. He was dubbed The Turbanator and you can see why in the video below!

When Gurpreet stepped into the room for his audition, believe me when I say that I thought this guy was a joke. He was wearing a purple turban that happened to match the outfit he was wearing. He just looked awkward and I never thought he would be able to sing. I thought it was another bad audition on American Idol.

The time has come for American Idol 2013 to make it’s debut and it comes without much publicity, right? Hardly, as FOX has been beating it into our minds that American Idol 2013 is coming and it is going to be better than ever with the new judges and new singers. The American Idol 2013 judges are of course Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and the one that never goes away Randy Jackson. Many feel the best part of any American Idol season are the auditions, so get ready for the American Idol 2013 auditions to start tonight! While much of the hype for American Idol Season 12 seems to be on the feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj and the “hidden video” that surfaced, but let’s look past that. The real reason why the show is on is to find the next winner of American Idol 2013. Who will that be? We are very far away from learning that, but it is time to see the good and the very bad auditions for Season 12. Who do you think the best judge will be on American Idol Season 12? Ryan Seacrest is back as host and I don’t think he will ever leave. Can Idol survive without Ryan?
