More hot water for American Idol 2013 or another ploy to keep buzz going for American Idol Season 12? Word on the street now is that American Idol is being sued by nine former contestants of the show and accusing the show of racism. Is this for real? Do you mean to tell me it took Corey Clark ten seasons to file a lawsuit against Idol based on racism?

TMZ has received a letter filed by attorney James H. Freeman with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and I guess it claims that the show is racist for publicly kicking off only black contestants. Really? The former contestants are: Corey Clark (Season 2), Jaered Andrews (Season 2), Donnie Williams (Season 3), Terrell Brittenum (Season 5), Derrell Brittenum (Season 5), Thomas Daniels (Season 6), Akron Watson (Season 6), Ju’Not Joyner (Season 8) and Chris Golightly (Season 9). With Project Runway All Stars Season 2 coming to an end last week that means we have Project Runway 2013 kicking off this week. Heidi Klum and the gang are back with 16 new designers for Season 11, but this time with a twist. As her and Tim Gunn explain, the designers will be competing in teams for the first time in Project Runway history. See how that all goes down during my Project Runway 2013 Live Recap and see who was eliminated on Project Runway Season 11 Premiere.

Besides the big news on the team challenges every week, we also have even bigger news coming out of Project Runway 2013. Michael Kors will not be a judge this season, but he has been replaced by Zac Posen. Michael is taking some personal time to focus on his own projects, but he will serve as a guest judge on the Project Runway Season 11 finale. Zac will bring a younger voice to the judging table, so I think it will be exciting to see him in action. How do you all feel about it?

The new American Idol judges 2013 and Ryan Seacrest take the American Idol Season 12 bus to Baton Rouge tonight to see what talent they can find in the great state of Louisiana. We have seen some great auditions and some hilarious auditions and of course the fight between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, but let’s focus on the singers tonight okay FOX? We shall see how that goes tonight during my American Idol 2013 Live Recap and we can find out who made American Idol Season 12.

Last night on American Idol 2013, we saw the infamous fight between Mariah and Nicki, which was a bunch of crap in my mind. Could FOX and Idol have hyped that up any more? The leaked video showed a lot more than FOX actually showed last night. And how bad do you feel for Summer Cunningham, who just happened to be auditioning for American Idol 2013 and all of a sudden the judges went crazy and didn’t have any courtesy to do it without her in the room. Anyone else over all the stupid drama this season between the judges on American Idol 2013?

I mentioned this during my live recap for American Idol 2013 last night, but it seemed to me that judge Nicki Minaj was giving out nicknames left and right to all the contestants. Well, I guess I was seeing a pattern and FOX made a video to show off some of the nicknames that Nicki has handed out during the American Idol auditions 2013.

Some people are hating on Nicki and think she needs to be kicked off American Idol and she has no talent and blah blah blah. She is entertaining and I think she has some good points during the auditions so far. The fight that happened, I was on Nicki’s side. She makes me laugh and she seems more about the singers than the others, but that is just my opinion.

The American Idol auditions 2013 took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, last night and it seemed that new American Idol judge Keith Urban was getting a lot of love from the contestants before he left for an event with his wife Nicole Kidman. One person who shared that love was Jimmy Smith, who said he was inspired by Keith to become a singer.

With that being said, of course Jimmy sang a country song and does quite well with it. He gets the Golden Ticket on American Idol 2013, but that was a given since he is rumored to have made the Top 40 on American Idol Season 12!
