Even though Jonathan tried real hard on The Bachelorette 2013 premiere, there was no kissing going on for The Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock, but a sneak peek at Week 2 of The Bachelorette Season 9 seems to change that! Things were kept pretty calm, on the hanky panky side of things, for The Bachelorette 2013 premiere and the first cocktail party, but during Week 2 things seem to be heating up. The Oklahoma tornadoes hit close to home for The Voice coach and country superstar Blake Shelton, as he struggled to do whatever he could to help raise money for his home state. To help raise awareness and money for Oklahoma, Blake Shelton organized the Healing in the Heartland Benefit tonight on NBC and he called on his friends to help perform, including this performance with fellow The Voice coach Usher. Check out Blake Shelton and Usher perform “Home” in the video below!

You could see Blake Shelton struggle with getting through the show last Monday, as the news of the tornadoes was still fresh. The benefit concert was his chance to shine some positive light on the subject and use his fame to raise money for such a terrible tragedy. Performances included Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Reba McEntire and many others.

When you are competing against both a holiday weekend and The Voice 2013, you are bound and determined to come up short and that is what happened with The Bachelorette 2013 ratings, as the Season 9 premiere had the lowest ratings in franchise history! No one wants to see Desiree Hartsock find love on The Bachelorette Season 9? I think they might, but our The Bachelorette 2013 spoilers tells us she is the first Bachelorette to have to compete against The Voice and ABC might not put them up against each other in future seasons!

For The Bachelorette 2013 premiere, there were 5.8 million viewers and a 1.9 adult rating, which is not good at all! Compare that to The Voice, which had 10.9 million viewers and a 3.1 adult rating. Numbers were down for The Voice as well, but you expect that on a holiday weekend.

It was a shocking week on The Voice USA Season 4, as the results show last night sent home two singers I thought would be around at least another week or two on The Voice 2013! Despite the shocking results on The Voice 2013 Season 4, there was a highlight this week: coach Blake Shelton took to the stage for a performance of his new single “Boys ‘Round Here” and it was great!
