We are moving into Night 2 of the Voice Premiere tonight on The Voice 2019 and that means more singers and more battles between The Voice Season 16 coaches! That may be my favorite part about the blind auditions. Well, that and crying from every backstory of the singers! Who will make me cry tonight on The Voice USA 2019? Last night on The Voice Season 16, we kicked off a new season and added a new coach into the mix. John Legend got his own red chair and he fit in pretty quickly, even though Blake Shelton used his block on him for the first blind audition! Blake may have won the show 80 million times, but they are all definitely worried about John being a big threat this season. It showed too, as Legend went on to win both four-chair turnarounds of the night, including the talented Maelyn Jarmon.

It was a very awkward hometown date for Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood on The Bachelor 2019 last night! Last night on The Bachelor Season 23, Colton made his way around the country for his hometown dates. The last date of the night was with Cassie, as she took him surfing during the day and then they met her family at night. Colton was adamant about getting the father’s blessing from each father, which is so wrong.

We had Night 1 of the Voice Premiere last night on The Voice 2019, as we welcomed John Legend to the coaches’ panel! We also welcomed Maelyn Jarmon to the stage, as he blind audition on The Voice Season 16 was the first four-chair turnaround of the season! Which coach would win the battle? For her performance, we find out she is actually deaf in one ear, so she hears music differently. About six months ago, she was ready to give up on music, but The Voice 2019 has sparked new life in her. She sings “Fields of Gold”and her voice is very solid. She has such a smooth-sounding voice and shows off some great range during her performance, as she the performance ends with all four coaches giving her a standing ovation!
