Hell’s Kitchen 2015 Recap: Week 5 – Who Was Eliminated Tonight?

The chefs on Hell’s Kitchen 2015 will be trying to be the big cheese tonight on Hell’s Kitchen Season 14, as Chef Gordon Ramsay has them competing in a challenge consisting of cheese! FOX definitely won me over when they mentioned cheese, so I am excited for what tonight has to offer us. The emotions will be riding high, but can both teams complete a dinner service on Hells Kitchen 2015? Last week on Hell’s Kitchen Season 14, the men found themselves on the losing end of a challenge again and Bret was not happy, as he looked like a big child throwing a fit when they don’t get their way. At dinner service, both of the teams were struggling. The men had some bumps, but they did make it through the entire service. The women on the other hand were not as successful. The meat station failed big time, but the women wanted Monique gone and came up with a plan to get rid of her by putting up Sarah with her. However, it did not work and Chef Ramsay knew Mieka was the weakest chef and sent her home.

Here we go…

CHALLENGE – For this challenge, the chefs pick which chef on the other team they want to compete against and then that chef spins the wheel to see which cheese dish they will be making. The pairs are picked and dishes determined. The chefs have 40 minutes to create their dishes. Bret gets a calzone and he is Italian and is overly excited to get this dish. Milly has enchiladas and no clue how to make it, but Adam helps him out. Bret makes the dough thin and it has opened in the oven and he is screwed! He starts over and flings in a new calzone and gets it done.

RESULTS – It came down to the calzone and T wins over Bret, as his dough is raw! The ladies win 5-4 and Bret is pissed yet again. For winning, the women are going to the ocean and riding some jet skis! For losing, the men will be receiving parmesan cheese and have to grate it for dinner service. This leads to tears from Milly and Bret afterwards and these are some emotional men!

DINNER SERVICE – Chef Ramsay said he wants to see leaders emerge tonight as the doors are opened. Sarah messes up the app, but Meghan helps her get all the ingredients in it and the apps go out successfully for the Red Team. Adam seems out of it and sends up risotto that is stuck to the pan and gets sent back! Monique is working garnish station and thinks it is easy, but of course her stuff gets sent back. Adam fixes the risotto and they are moving on to entrees.

Bret loves eating and cooking fish, so he is going to own this on Hell’s Kitchen 2015. So, of course, he sends up soggy salmon that gets sent back! Now Monique sends up raw eggplant and he is over her and tells someone to take control, so Meghan takes over. Brendan is the only one working up the meat station and he is falling apart. Sarah and Christine send up raw rice and salmon and Chef Ramsay calls the team back for a meeting and gives them one more chance.

It didn’t work, as Christine sends up bad salmon again and Chef Ramsay has had enough and kicks them all out of the kitchen! Brendan finally gets the lamb out after a long break and the Blue Team finishes up their tickets and completes dinner service again. The women lose again and need to nominate two people for elimination.

RESULTS – In front of Chef Ramsay, the Red Team has nominated Monique and Sarah (same two as last week). They both state their case and Chef Ramsay decides to send Monique home. He said he isn’t feeling it and the Red Team isn’t feeling it, so she is headed home!
