Last night on American Idol Season 14, Ryan Seacrest introduced us to a new Twitter Twist on Idol. Like on The Voice, the bottom two singers would be announced and they would sing one last time. From there, fans of the show had five minutes to go on Twitter and Idol Fan Save their favorite artist. I love this twist on The Voice and love it on American Idol too. I think it keeps people tuned in and interested, as they can vote again to save someone in danger of going home.

After a night of the contestants singing Kelly Clarkson songs, it came down to Rayvon Owen and Daniel Seavey in the bottom two. Daniel is a cutie, but his voice isn’t on the same level as the other singers in this competition. Rayven nailed his final performance and it came down to Twitter. I was very happy, as America voted to #SaveRayvon and that meant Daniel was eliminated. Good kid and so nice, but he needs some more time and practice before making it big time.
