As the season progresses on Top Chef Seattle, I find myself getting more and more invested in who wins Top Chef Season 10! The beginning of these shows always get me all frazzled, as we try to learn the new chefs and then try to pick out the ones who might make it on Top Chef 2012. We have begun to weed out some of the competition and now are down to 10 chefs and we are getting closer to finding out who won Top Chef Seattle. Come watch tonight with me during my Top Chef Seattle Live Recap and find out who was eliminated on Top Chef Season 10!

Last week it was all about aluminum foil, as the cheftestants took on a Quickfire Challenge of preparing a dish that was cooked and prepared using only aluminum foil! This was quite interesting because the chefs had to go into the pantry and grab ingredients completely wrapped in foil, but whatever ingredients they unwrapped then they had to use that in their dish! Kristen got ballsy and made a cake in aluminum foil, but it paid off and she won the challenge and immunity. It was all about berries in the Elimination Challenge on Top Chef Seattle, as the chefs paired up for a showdown cooking berries. In the end, Danyele seemed to lack confidence every week and it showed in her dishes and she was sent home.

Tonight, it is all about oysters, as the chefs must go out and find some oysters and prepare them for celebrity judge Emeril Lagasse. For the Elimination Challenge, the chefs will head out to the roller rink and do some cooking for the local roller derby team! It should be fun, but who was eliminated on Top Chef 2012? Find out in my Top Chef Seattle Live Recap tonight. Come back to check it out!

At the end of the last show we saw Josie and Stefan get into it, which looks like it continues tonight, so watch out for that.

The chefs head out and going to be cooking some shellfish today on Top Chef Season 10. They must go out and get fresh oysters to cook for the Quickfire Challenge. Josie gets stuck in the mud, so Micah goes out to help her get out. John said he has a lot of experience with shellfish, having grown up in New England, so he should do well?

The chefs head back to the kitchen to meet Padma Lakshmi and Emeril Lagasse. For the Quickfire Challenge, they must make oysters on the half shell. Five of them will do hot preparation and five will do cold preparation. The chef with the best oysters wins $5,000 and immunity. Sheldon wanted a hot dish, but he got a cold apron. Micah is making a hot dish and Kristen, Bart, John and Josie also are. Brooke, Lizzie, Stefan and Josh are making cold dishes. Time runs out and here come Padma and Emeril for the tasting. Who do you think will win?

For Stefan, Emeril said nice crunch. Josh didn’t shuck the oysters very well. For Lizzie, Emeril said he likes the final drizzle of olive oil. For John, Emeril said the cheese is not heavy. For Micah, Emeril said it has a nice seasoning and Padma said she likes it. For Sheldon, Emeril said he had little hints of ginger and it was nice.

After tasting them all, Emeril said he did not like the dishes from Bart, Josie and John. The best dishes are from Lizzie (loved how she took a chance with the berries), Micah (other spices in there that made his mouth pop) and Brooke (delicious). The winner is Micah, so he wins $5,000.

We roll along right into the next Elimination Challenge on Top Chef Seattle, where they will be cooking for the Rat City Rollergirls. They will be cooking for their wrap party the next day and the chefs partner up to cook a dish inspired by a name from each member of the team: Teriyaki Terror, Jalapeno Business, Eddie Shredder, Kutta Rump and Tempura Tantrum. The girls are bold and brass and that is what the dishes should be like. Micah and Lizzie pick Jalapeno Business. Sheldon and Josh pick Tempura Tantrum. Stefan and Kristin pick Eddie Shredder. John and Brooke pick Kutta Rump. Josie and Bart pick Teriyaki Terror.

The chefs get to go watch the Rat City Rollergirls last game of the season and Josie is all pumped up about it. She used to be a professional football player, so she is all about the sports (and probably watching all the girls in their uniforms). Everyone else is boring and Josie is over it. They head back to the house and tempers flare and Josie goes off on Micah for being in the closet. The gays are fighting tonight, it looks like!

The next day arrives and the chefs have two and a half hours to prepare their dishes. Josie can be loud and obnoxious and she is not holding back on this day, which is not a surprise after the big blowup last night. For her dish, Josie wants to go spicy and have it blow up in their mouth. Bart is worried about the dish being over-spicy. Sheldon has done tempura at his restaurant for a long time, so he is feeling confident with his dish with Josh. Josie doesn’t think the rice has the texture she envisioned and is worried. Time is running out and the chefs are plating all the dishes.

All the players and guests start arriving for the party and the chefs start serving their food. The Top Chef judges arrive, which for this week are Padma, Emeril, Tom Colicchio and Hugh Acheson. For Brooke and John, they had Kutta Rump and made Thai Beef with Lobster Jasmine Rice and Thai Slaw. Hugh said the flavors really build well and definitely bold.

For Bart and Josie, they had Teriyaki Terror and made Steak Teriyaki with Forbidden Rice, Beet Blood and Green Papaya Salad. Teriyaki said it is really unique taste, but a little too earthy for her. Padma said they undercooked the rice.

For Lizzie and Micah, they had Jalapeno Business and made Crab-Stuffed Jalapeno with Avocado Cream, Onion and Pepper Relish. Hugh said it is better than he thought. Tom said it is nice and crispy and the flavor is great.

For Stefan and Kristen, they had Eddie Shredder and made Corn Puree, Chicken Liver and Sunny-Side Up Egg. Emeril said the corn puree is cooked perfectly. Tom said they missed a lot of opportunity here. Eddie said she liked it.

For Sheldon and Josh, they had Tempura Tantrum and made Tempura Yuzu Curd with Shiso, Fresno Chili, Sweet Potato and Vanilla. Emeril said they had a great idea, but the tempura was not cooked. Tempura thinks it is delicious.

We are back at the Judges’ Table on Top Chef Season 10 and Padma comes in and wants to see John and Brooke and Micah and Lizzie. They had the best dishes of the night, so they can relax. Tom said their dishes had great flavor. Emeril said people were raving about their dishes. The winning team of the night is Brooke and John.

The chefs head back to the holding room and the judges asked to see Josie and Bart and Sheldon and Josh. These two teams served the worst dishes of the party and one of them will be going home. Tom tells Josie and Bart their food was under-seasoned. Josie said she thought it was bland to begin with, which Tom doesn’t understand why she sent it out. Emeril said it was a mish-mash of stuff and not all together.

For Sheldon and Josh, Hugh said the main focal point was soft. Josh asked why the stuffed jalapeno was one of the best dishes, but Padma said they executed well and Josh and Sheldon did not. Tom said the main component of their dish was bad, so Sheldon is worried he is going home because he made the tempura. Who do you think is going home on Top Chef Seattle?

Time for the ruling by the judges. Who is going home? Tom said the tempura ruined the dish for Sheldon and Josh and the beets were unseasoned for Bart and Josie. The judges discussed and the chef eliminated on Top Chef Season 10 is Bart! Josie survives again! Are you happy with the decision?

On Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen, it is a battle between Bart and reigning champion CJ. Will Bart finally be the one to take down CJ?
