We got to see the Top 8 on American Idol 2014 perform another week thanks to the Judges’ Save used last week on American Idol Season 13. For the second week of performances, the Top 8 took on the theme of 80’s Week and it was fun. Jennifer Lopez even poofed up the hair to try and fit in with the theme. I was shocked when Malaya Watson ended up in the bottom three last week on American Idol 2014, as she has been one of my favorites on American Idol Season 13. I love her personality and spunk, but do agree that she did not have the best performance last week. Well, Malaya made up for it big time last night on American Idol 2014, as they straightened her hair and calmed her down by putting her behind the piano for this performance in the Top 12 on American Idol 2014! We had a night of performances on American Idol 2014 last night, as the Top 13 on American Idol Season 13 took the stage to perform for your votes. The theme for the week was “This Is Me” and the Top 13 picked songs that represented who they are as an artist.
