The lovely merge on Survivor Blood vs Water 2014 took place last week, so all the loved ones are together on one tribe and it looks like some parents will be stepping up to defend their children! Will it have any effect on who goes home tonight on Survivor Season 29? Find out during our Survivor 2014 Season 29 Recap tonight and see who got eliminated on Survivor 2014 tonight!

Survivor 2014 Season 29 Spoilers - Week 8 Preview 3

Last week on Survivor San Juan del Sur 2014, the merge took place and the two tribes became one. This was a chance to see where the true alliances were and to see how the loved ones would react with being on the same tribe together, even though most of them were on the same tribe already thanks to the switch-up. Julie felt out of place and then proceeded to hide away some trail mix and was caught. She didn’t want to admit it and felt she was going home, so she decided to quit the game! Yup, QUIT!

Here we go…it is a new day and Missy is not happy that Julie quit the game and she put a wrinkle in the plan. They were voting out Josh and can’t do that without Tribal Council. Now we see Jon and Jaclyn talking and he is not feeling good about scheming and lying to everyone. The plan is to get Jeremy out, who he says is the leader of the pack. When will that change?

REWARD CHALLENGE: They will be divided into two teams and lift heavy puzzle pieces onto a cart and then move it down the field to build a temple. One person will then race to the top to unlock the statue and then the other castaways will pull the statue to the top to raise the flag. The first one to raise the flag will win the reward, which is a Survivor style taco bar! They can pick their own teams and they are:

  • Yellow Team – Keith, Natalie, Reed, Jeremy and Wes
  • Blue Team – Jon, Alec, Baylor, Josh and Jaclyn

Missy was not picked and has no shot at the reward! Yellow gets out to an early lead and gets some pieces down first. Blue Team is struggling with the cart. Yellow Team is heading out with the last pieces and they start building the temple as the Blue Team gets their last piece and starts moving the cart. Both teams are building the temple. The Blue Team is moving super fast on this puzzle, but the Yellow Team finishes and Natalie unlocks the statue. They hoist that statue and raise the flag and Yellow Team wins reward!!! For winning, they have to pick someone to head to Exile Island. They talk about sending someone that hasn’t gone, so they send Jon because he is big and can make it on his own!

Time for the Yellow Team to enjoy their reward and this food looks absolutely amazing. The castaways have no real alliance among them and they are a mix, so they aren’t really strategizing. Wes decides he is going to eat everything and drink everything and not stopping! Keith tells him to slow down, but Wes does not listen and he is not feeling well now!

Back at camp, we see Josh pull Baylor aside and talks with her and that she owes him. He claims he saved her before and she owes him a vote, but she does not seem to be giving in. He knows that her Mom won her over. He talks to Jaclyn and she said they are not voting Josh out and he is good to go, despite what Missy and Baylor do.

We see Jon go to Exile Island and how hard would it be to go there alone on Survivor 2014. He’ll be fine, especially now that he gets the Hidden Immunity Idol clue and it is a new clue for an idol there at Exile Island!!! He goes out searching and searching and he finds it!!!

It is the next day and here comes the men being pigs talk. Alec is an ass and feels entitled over Baylor. Jeremy said the men are rude and should be considerate to the women. I am thinking this is a good edit to make it look worse than it is. Anyone else? Now we see Jaclyn over it with the guys too and she said she is not voting with them. Will she stick to her guns with Jon or go out on her own???

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: For this challenge, they will see a series of symbols and use a cube to repeat them back to Jeff. This is a test of memory and Jon has returned.

ROUND 1 – Jon, Reed, Wes and Alec are eliminated

ROUND 2 – Natalie, Baylor, Jaclyn, Missy and Keith are out. Ironic, huh? Our final two castaways left are Josh and Jeremy and this could be for who stays and goes tonight on Survivor 2014 Season 29! Jeremy is correct and Josh is wrong, so Jeremy wins immunity and just saved himself at Tribal Council!

Back at camp and Jon tells Jaclyn right away that he has the idol. The guys talk and they want to go for Baylor now instead of Jeremy, which Wes said his Dad will be on board with and we know that is true. This does come down to Jon and Jaclyn….again! I am sick of saying that.

Now we see Jon and Jaclyn talking and she said that the guys ignore her and they can’t beat the guys, so she doesn’t want to vote with them. Now we see Missy telling Keith that he is doing whatever Josh wants. He then proceeds to tell Missy that Baylor is going home and she does nothing in the camp and is lazy and she sticks up for her. Bad mistake for telling her that Baylor is going home? Now Missy talks to Jon and said they need to stick to their plan and vote out Josh. It is back and forth and depends on what Jon does and if he sticks with Jaclyn or not!

TRIBAL COUNCIL: Jeremy said if he didn’t win it, then he felt his name would be written down tonight. Josh said he felt the same way. Jaclyn said they have been approached by both sides and are in the middle. She said her and Jon make decisions together, so they need to acknowledge her. Why do they pitch for Jon and not team up to get Jon or Jaclyn out??? They think they have so much power, but blindside them and vote one of them out! Time for the vote and no idol was played, so time for Jeff to read the votes!

VOTES: Baylor, Josh, Baylor, Josh, Baylor, Josh, Baylor, Josh, Baylor, Josh and Josh! He is voted off tonight and becomes the first member of the jury and I think a stupid move.
