Survivor 2014 Recap: Week 3 – Who Got Eliminated Tonight?

While Survivor 2014 is focused on the three tribes (Brains, Brawn and Beauty), we still do have some entertaining castaways on Survivor Cagayan 2014 and it looks like they could start butting heads tonight on Survivor Season 28. While CBS is focused on those three tribes, the castaways are focused on being the winner of Survivor 2014 and getting that $1 million prize! That involves making some bold moves and blindsides, which could happen tonight! Follow along with our Survivor 2014 Recap and see who got eliminated on Survivor 2014 tonight with us!

Last week on Survivor Season 28, the castaways faced some dangerous weather and were wondering if the rain would ever stop. The big question of the night was if the Brains Tribe would stop their losing streak and not go to Tribal Council for the first time this season. They were successful, as they finished in second place at the Immunity Challenge and the Brawn Tribe won yet again and is dominating! At Tribal Council, the Beauty Tribe was torn between voting off Morgan or Brice, but went with Brice because he could have a better social game as the season goes along and he was headed home!

Here we go…the sky looks beautiful as the Beauty Tribe arrives back at camp. Morgan is not happy that Jeremiah went with the other alliance and now she thinks she is the next to go. She confronts him in front of everyone, so will that hurt him in the game eventually? Now Morgan is running her mouth to Alexis and saying Jeremiah was trying to get her out and LJ out.

Over on the Brains Tribe, they get tree mail and find out they are having a Reward Challenge on Survivor 2014, so they start practicing and J’Tia is determined to do well and get some protein for the tribe she dumped out all the rice on!

Reward Challenge: the tribes meet Jeff Probst and for this challenge, on person will be the caller and the rest of the tribe will be blindfolded. Using only verbal commands, the caller must lead the tribe members to go out and gather up five items and bring it back and hand it up to the caller. Then they must go out and get a flag and bring it back to the caller. First tribe done wins three egg-laying hens and a rooster. The second tribe to finish gets a dozen eggs and the third tribe gets nothing. Woo and Sarah sit out for Brawn and Morgan sits out for Beauty.

Alexis for Beauty, Cliff for Brawn and Tasha for Brains are the callers. Beauty and Brains have first item, but Cliff sent Brawn to the last item first. Smart move? LJ keeps running into the beams right in the junk! Spencer then knocks himself out in the junk. We have Beauty and Brains with three items and Brawn with two. Beauty and Brains are close, but Beauty has a slight lead. They keep it to the end and win the Reward Challenge and get the hens and rooster. Brains Tribe can’t get any of their items up the hoist and drop the flag as Brawn Tribe runs back with flag! J’Tia is a hot mess and can’t get the flag on a big, flat, platform to hoist it up! Brawn comes back and wins the dozen eggs and Brains Tribe goes back to camp with nothing!

The Beauty Tribe is happy to be bringing back their reward. They find the note for the Hidden Immunity Idol and Jeremiah reads it for everyone, but LJ already has it! This is funny to watch, as the Beauty Tribe tries to figure out how the eggs are made and how chickens are born. Can I slap these girls??? Jeremiah is trying to show off his Southern charm and ripped off the head of the chicken and now they have some food! Morgan is being bitter, as she still hates Jeremiah and doesn’t think he is cute enough to be on the Beauty Tribe.

On the Brawn Tribe, Sarah is going off the lie that Tony told her about Lindsay and Cliff talking about wanting to get rid of Sarah. Now Sarah thinks Cliff doesn’t need the money and wants him gone for crossing her. She talks to Woo and he seems down for getting rid of him, who likes Cliff but wants someone else to reach that millionaire status besides Cliff. Tony overhears them and calls Sarah aside, who said that Woo is on their side. Sarah is down with this Cops ‘R Us, but Tony is totally using her!

The castaways get tree mail for the Immunity Challenge and it looks like a basketball kind of challenge and Cliff is excited. Sarah talks with Trish and they want to throw the challenge. She thinks she needs to get Woo on their side, but he is wanting to see Woo shoot those baskets and is torn right now. Should Woo go with the core alliance or with Cliff?

Immunity Challenge: the castaways will dive down and release a buoy. Once they collect all five buoys, they will shoot them into the basket across the water. Once all five buoys are made, they win immunity for the first two tribes done. Tony and Lindsay sit out for Brawn and Alexis for Beauty.

Here we are again at another challenge and J’Tia can’t get the first buoy! It is only three feet down and she can’t get it after a couple attempts, so goes back and Tasha goes out and gets it. We have Sarah and Trish doing nothing for Brawn and throwing it. This is allowing the Brain Tribe to stick around, but the Beauty Tribe is shooting now. The Brain Tribe is giving up and just letting Spencer get down and get all the buoys and they have all five and will start shooting! Jeremiah nails them all and gets all five buoys in and they win immunity! Brawn gets their fifth buoy and Cliff is shooting! Meanwhile, J’Tia and Kass cannot get the balls back to Spencer and he is getting pissed! Cliff easily gets the balls back and gets all five in and they win immunity, as the Brains can’t get the balls back in time and they lose and are headed to Tribal Council on Survivor Cagayan 2014!

Sarah said they tried to throw that challenge, but the Brains suck and deserve to lose, which is true. Now Spencer is worried on the Brains Tribe, as he is kicking butt on the challenges, but then he is outnumbered by women in his tribe. He talks with Kass and Tasha and tells them they need to keep him over J’Tia. Tasha and Kass talk and they don’t want to keep Spencer, but he is the better option and will make them a stronger tribe. They will make Spencer think he is going and make J’Tia think she is safe. Will it happen? Now J’Tia talks with them and said she is loyal, so Tasha is thinking it could be smart to keep J’Tia in case Jeff throws a wrench and mixes things up!

Tribal Council: Jeff asks J’Tia where she fits in terms of losses for the tribe, but she said she did the best she could. Tasha said that J’Tia has been weak in most challenges and they have to find the weakest role for her to do. Kass and Tasha are throwing around the loyalty card big time and Spencer looks worried. Spencer said the rice may not show disloyalty, but it shows unpredictability and he is not that way. Tasha and Kass are looking and talking while Spencer and J’Tia talk. Who won them over during their speeches? Time to vote! Jeff tallies the votes and no one has a Hidden Immunity Idol to play, so here we go!

Votes: J’Tia, Spencer, J’Tia and J’Tia! That means J’Tia is voted off tonight on Survivor Cagayan 2014 and it is well overdue! I think they could be strong in challenges now!
