Hell’s Kitchen 2015 Recap: Week 13 – Who Was Eliminated Tonight?

The final five chefs on Hell’s Kitchen 2015 will be put to the Small Plates Challenge on Hell’s Kitchen Season 14, as we have the first individual challenge of the season. Chef Gordon Ramsay won’t be messing around, as we move one step closer to finding out the winner of Hell’s Kitchen Season 14! Only five chefs remain, so the pressure is going to be high tonight on Hells Kitchen 2015! Last week on Hell’s Kitchen Season 14, we had a two-hour special and the black jackets were finally handed out. The chefs knew it, so the first dinner service was extra nerve-wracking. The Blue Team (Meghan, Nick and Milly) kicked butt and got their jackets before the Red Team even finished! It was a rough service for Alison and Chef Ramsay sent her home. During the second hour, it was the first dinner service as one team. Chef Ramsay said it was the best service of the season, but he still had to send someone home. That chef: Josh, who I happened to like!

Here we go…

CHALLENGE – The chefs head down and there is an orchestra playing in the dining room! Hell’s Kitchen is hosting a private concert and they will have 45 minutes to prepare an elegant small plate for all the guests. Each guest will taste all the dishes and the chef with the most votes will win the challenge. The chefs serve their dishes and the guests vote.

RESULTS – The winning chef had 55% of the vote (which is an overwhelming victory) and the win goes to Milly! For winning, he will be going on a private helicopter tour of Los Angeles. He gets to bring one chef with him and he takes T and Meghan looks pissed, as she has lost like nine challenges in a row! For losing, the other chefs will have to separate the shipment of peppercorns and then ground them!

DINNER SERVICE – For tonight, Chef Ramsay gives Chef Andi and Chef James the night off and they’ll dine as guests! The final five will be performing as sous chefs tonight and will rotate throughout the evening. Milly is up first and he catches raw scallops from Michelle. She gets it right on the second try. Chef Ramsay said great job for Milly and very strong.

Michelle is up next and she likes to say “pick it up, guys” and it is so annoying. Milly took over for Michelle’s station and he is confused on where anything is. He screws up the scallops also and Michelle sends them back, but fixes them on the second try.

Meghan is up next and she catches Nick sending up bad beef wellington. Now Milly sends up bad scallops again! Milly sends up bad scallops again and Chef Ramsay calls them back for a meeting! T takes over as sous chef and Milly finally sends up proper scallops. Now Nick sends up raw beef wellington, but he gets it corrected.

Chef Ramsay switches T with Nick and she takes over the meat station. However, he never started the lamb and now she has to fix it! That means 12 minutes on the lamb and Nick has to go explain to the diners what is wrong. T is trying to fix the meat station and Nick is trying to help, but he is supposed to be sous chef and Chef Ramsay calls him out! This makes me laugh because Nick would laugh so hard at Josh, but karma is a bitch and here it is biting him in the face!

They seem to have gotten their crap together and all the tickets have been served! Chef Ramsay said it is not the service he wanted it to be and they limped across the finish line and now must nominate two chefs for elimination.

RESULTS – The two nominees are Nick and Michelle, which baffles Chef Ramsay. He said nominating Michelle reflects negatively on all of them and he is not accepting that nomination! He said the problems tonight were on meat and fish, so he said Nick and Milly step forward. They both state their case and Chef Ramsay sends Nick home after the disaster at dinner service tonight, so Milly is safe!
