Dancing with the Stars 2014 Spoilers: Kenny Ortega Guest Judge!

It may be the semifinals on Dancing with the Stars 2014, but it is also American Icons Night on DWTS 2014 tonight and we will have an icon serving as a guest judge on DWTS Season 18, as Kenny Ortega will sit down at the judges’ table for the night! He has choreographed some big movies, like Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Now he gets to guest judge tonight, so check out the details below in our Dancing with the Stars 2014 spoilers!

Last week on Dancing with the Stars Season 18, the couples took to the dance floor and performed two routines again. For the first time on DWTS, the stars danced together at the same time! The Celebrity Dance Duels took place, where two couples performed to the same song, but in the middle of the routine the pro dancers left the floor and the stars worked it out! It was a cool concept and I am sure we will see it again in future seasons. When all was said and done, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews announced that Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy had the lowest score and were eliminated!

For tonight, this is the official synopsis from ABC:

“Emmy Award winning director and choreographer Kenny Ortega makes his Dancing With The Stars debut as a guest judge on American Icons Night when he sits alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, MONDAY, MAY 12 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The semi-finals begin as the five remaining couples must rise to the challenge of performing two different routines to music by legendary and modern American Icons. The couples will perform a variety of dance styles including Foxtrot, Rumba, Jazz, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Samba, Cha Cha, and Jive. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination leaving only four couples to move on to the Finals.”
