American Idol Las Vegas 2013 continues tonight, but this time we get to see the first ten guys take the stage for the American Idol judges 2013 and see who makes it into the Top 20 for American Idol Season 12 and who was eliminated on American Idol 2013. The American Idol Las Vegas 2013 results shocked many last night, so let’s see how everything goes down tonight during my American Idol Las Vegas 2013 Recap!

American Idol Las Vegas 2013 - Part 2

Last night on Idol, we got to see the first ten girls perform. Some shined (Angela Miller and Kree Harrison) and others fell flat on their face (Kamaria Ousley). The first ten were very strong, so it was hard for the American Idol judges 2013 to pick five of them to eliminate. They did and how many of you were shocked to see Isabelle go home? I was impressed with Mariah Carey and how she seemed like she actually knew what she was talking about! Nicki Minaj had her moments, but there was no real tension on the judges’ panel last night.

Tonight we get to see the first 10 guys take the stage, but which ones will shine and which will fall apart? I think the list of guys tonight is interesting and quite strong, so I am interested to see how the judges will work this one out! Come back for my Live Recap to find out!

WARNING: AMERICAN IDOL 2013 SPOILERS AHEAD!

Don’t want to know what happened on the American Idol Las Vegas 2013 Group 2 Live Recap? Then don’t read ahead!

*****************************************************************************************

Here we go…just banter for now to waste time and then the ten guys are revealed for tonight. Who you excited to see tonight? Curtis Finch, Jr. just annoys me!

Paul Jolley: He sings “Tonight I Wanna Cry” by Keith Urban. That is quite ballsy singing a song from one of the judges, don’t you say? I thought he did a great job and has a very solid voice. The judges wanted him to not over-perform the song, but Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson thought he has great range for a country singer.

Johnny Keyser: He sings “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz. Yes, Johnny is very easy on the eyes, especially big blue eyes, but I was not feeling him tonight. He got better towards the middle, but there was nothing impressive about it to me. What do you all think?

J’DA: He sings “Rumour Has It” by Adele. Is this American Idol Las Vegas 2013 or is it RuPaul’s Drag Race? He wore heels, glitter and scruff. Who knows what is going on, but he whips off the jacket and seemed to focus more on the dancing and moves than the singing. Entertaining? I am not sure, but the judges were split.

Kevin Harris: He sings “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” by Bryan Adams. This is a weird performance for me. I think he has a good voice and sings this song, but it seemed like a safe song choice. He hits a big note towards the end, but it never went anywhere and I think he has it in him to take it somewhere.

Chris Watson: He sings “(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay” by Otis Redding. Okay, the gays are clearly represented this year on American Idol Las Vegas 2013. The queens have come out to play tonight, but I was not impressed. The vocals were decent, but nothing to write home about!

Devin Velez: He sings “Listen” by Beyonce. He breaks out into some Spanish in the middle of the song, which is supposed to impress us? It did nothing for me and a song that was struggling for me was made even worse. This is a Beyonce song and sounds weird from Devin. Your thoughts? Nicki Minaj loved the Spanish.

Elijah Liu: He sings “Talking To The Moon” by Bruno Mars. He think he is a player and good with the ladies, but that is what happens when you are 18 years old, right? I am not impressed by Elijah and it was kind of a boring song to me. These guys are not bringing it tonight, are they? Nicki said she would sign him now!

Charlie Askew: He sings “Rocket Man” by Elton John. You can sing his nerves, as the microphone shakes. He does have his moments of sounding decent, but Charllie is not worthy of being in the Top 20 on American Idol Season 12. He screams at the end and it is too much for me. Nicki gives hime a standing ovation.

Jimmy Smith: He sings “Raining On Sunday” by Keith Urban. Do the boys tonight think that if they sing a judges’ song then they will automatically move on to the Top 20? Jimmy tries it and does a decent job. He has a good voice and I am not familiar with the song, but he has a nice country voice.

Curtis Finch, Jr.: He sings “Superstar” by The Carpenters. Have I said that he annoys me? He screams at parts when he sings and it is just too overdone and too much for me to handle. He seems cocky and arrogant and I am not a fan of him.

Now it is up to the American Idol judges 2013 to make up their mind and see who makes it and who is sent home. Who do you think makes it through?

The eliminations on American Idol Las Vegas 2013 tonight are here:

  • In: Curtis Finch Jr. (ugh), Elijah Liu, Paul Jolley (since the judges were split on him, Jimmy Iovine made the final decision and sent him through). Charlie Askew (how is that even possible) and Devin Velez.
  • Out: Jimmy Smith, Kevin Harris, J’DA, Chris Watson and Johnny Keyser (he does not make it again)!
