American Idol 2013 Sing Off: Two Singers Battle For Spot On Tour (VIDEO)
Ryan Seacrest made the announcement after the Top 10 on American Idol Season 12 were finally announced and now the sixth place guy and sixth place girl took the stage last night to battle it out in an American Idol 2013 sing-off for a spot on the American Idol Live Tour 2013! The two performers were Charlie Askew and Aubrey Cleland, which goes to show just how much support Charlie has out there and you can see both their performances below!
This is a new feature they have started on American Idol Season 12 and I kind of like it. It gives these singers one more chance to show America what they got and then get to tour with the Top 10 singers all summer long. A great opportunity for them!
The first performer was Charlie Askew on American Idol 2013 and while he has been cooky and weird at times, I actually enjoyed his performance last night. He performed an original song titled “Sky Blue Diamond” and just sat behind that piano and gave a solid performance:
The second performer was Aubrey Cleland on American Idol 2013 and she looked gorgeous. For her song, she sang “Out Here On My Own” by Irene Cara. Many people thought she deserved to be in the Top 10 and I think this performance showed just that. The girls are strong this year on Idol, which sucks for Aubrey.
So, you can vote right here for who you think should go on tour with the Top 10 and the results will be announced on Wednesday night’s show next week! Who do you think should make it?
