The Apprentice 2015 Recap: Week 5 – PhoneGate Takes Over!

The focus tonight on The Apprentice 2015 will be on PhoneGate and if Kenya Moore stole the phone from Vivica A. Fox and sent out some tweet that has her very upset! It looks like The Apprentice 2015 cast is going to be shocked by this one, including Donald Trump, but what did it say??? We’ll find out tonight during The Celebrity Apprentice 2015 and we’ll see Joan Rivers one last time as a boardroom advisor on Celebrity Apprentice 2015! Last week on The Apprentice 2015, we saw Hooter girls and boat tours of New York City. We had Sig Hansen from Deadliest Catch leading his team to a loss with the boat tour and Trump felt the concept was way off and he was fired. From there, the teams had to make a 3-d platform that would give an experience similar to Trump National Doral Miami. Again, Trump did not like the concept from Team Vortex and Kate Gosselin was the project manager and she was fired!

Here we go…

TASK #1: For this task, the teams will be working with Kings Hawaiian and create a “photo bomb” and come up with a catchy hashtag. The project managers are Johnny Damon for Team Infinity and Kenya Moore for Team Vortex.

WORKING THE TASK: We have Team Infinity using the Statue of Liberty for the backdrop and Team Infinity using big butts. Team Infinity gets flown around NYC to get shots of the Statue of Liberty and what not for their photos. Kenya and Vivica are going at it and drama already. Vivica can’t find her phone and she did let Kenya use it to Google something. Leeza does the presentation for Team Infinity and it goes smooth. Team Vortex sucks it up and they don’t seem thrilled with the booty concept.

BOARDROOM #1: The executives liked the photos from Team Infinity, but not the hashtag. They did not like the photo or the hashtag for Team Vortex. Because of that, Team Infinity wins and Johnny gets money for his charity. Things get nasty between Kenya and Vivica and who sent out the tweet. In the end, Trump thinks the concept was terrible and that is because of the project manager, so Kenya is fired and a sigh of relief is heard around the world!

TASK #2: For this task, they will have to create a 30-second jingle for Anheuser-Busch. Leeza is moved to Team Vortex and will serve as their project manager for this task. Brandi will be the project manager for Team Infinity!

WORKING ON THE TASK: Geraldo wants a Latin flare for the jingle, but the others disagree. The new Team Vortex is working well together, but Team Infinity is not blending well and Ian is working on lyrics, but Brandi and Johnny do not like them. He gets upset and him and Brandi get into it. For the presentations, the executive seemed to enjoy both of the jingles, but Team Infinity was very awkward during their presentation!

BOARDROOM #2: The executives liked the branding for Team Infinity, but they did not like the lyrics for the jingle. They loved everything about Team Vortex and because of that, they win this task and Leeza wins money for her charity! Team Infinity fights it out, but Trump feels that Ian did not budge or work well with the others, so he fires him. He then said he is not done, as he fires Johnny Damon also because he wrote the lyrics and then fires Brandi for being the project manager! Yup, all of Team Infinity was fired tonight!!!
