American Idol 2013 Spoilers: Candice Glover Top 3 Performances (VIDEO)

According to Jimmy Iovine, Candice Glover won the night with her last performance of the night, but do you agree? The ladies had no say in their song choices this week, but they were done by Jimmy Iovine, the American Idol judges 2013 and by the producers of Idol. Here we go:
Round 1 (Jimmy Iovine’s Pick) – “One” by U2 featuring Mary J. Blige
Candice Glover 1st song, Top 3 ~ American Idol… by HumanSlinky
Love, love, love. I love this song and loved the look for Candice. She was sporting that weight loss with this look, but enough about her look (I feel like Nicki Minaj). She sang this song amazingly well and I am such a huge fan of Candice.
Round 2 (Judges’ Pick) – “Next To Me” by Emeli Sande
For me, I love this song and Emeli does it justice. She has such a high tone to her voice and Candice is lower in her range, so it just sounded weird to me. Not knocking what Candice did, but I am comparing her to the original song and I am not a fan.
Round 3 (Producers’ Pick) – “Somewhere” by Reri Grist/Barbara Streisand
She may have lost me in Round 2, but Candice came back big time for the last performance of the night. This was flawless and it so reminded me of the performance of “Summertime” by Fantasia Barrino during her season. Anyone else? It had that Broadway/musical feel to it, but brought in the emotion of the song as well. Loved it!
