I think Candice is a deserving winner of American Idol, especially after trying two other times and failing. She discusses that with Jay Leno and much more, so check out the video below.


I find it funny that Simon Cowell said she would be a lounge singer that no one paid attention to and now she is the winner of American Idol Season 12. What does that mean:

  1. Candice worked hard and proved him wrong?
  2. Simon was way off on his ability to see talent?
  3. American Idol and their talent is so bad that even a bad lounge singer can win?

Either way you look at it, I think Candice can have a big career in front of her, like Jennifer Hudson, who she got the chance to sing with during the finale!
