Who Won Top Chef Kentucky 2019 Last Night? Season 16 Finale

After weeks of challenges and dishes and victories, the winner of Top Chef Season 16 was finally crowned last night during the Top Chef finale on Bravo, but who won Top Chef Kentucky 2019 last night? Last night on Top Chef 2019, the evening kicked off with the chefs taking a little trip down memory lane. They looked back at each of their journeys on the big screen of the MGM Theater. From there, they found out the final Elimination Challenge of the season was to create a four-course meal for the judges. They got to draw knives and pick two sous chefs to help them cook these dishes.

They had six hours to prep the dishes the next day, but with a twist: after two hours of prep, they would serve their first course to the judges and the least favorite dish would be eliminated and the other two chefs would go on to serve the full four-course meal. The chef eliminated at this point was Eric!

That meant friends Sara and Kelsey were headed to a showdown in the finale. They each served their dishes and the judges had positive and negative things to say about all the dishes. It seems like a pretty fair fight going on and I thought Sara was going to take home the victory here.

However, Padma Lakshmi shocked me when she announced that Kelsey Barnard Clark was the winner of Top Chef Kentucky 2019! She left her baby boy to pursue this dream and it paid off, as she walked away with that $125,000 check!
