Who Went Home On MasterChef 2014 Last Night? Week 6

The home cooks on Master Chef 2014 felt like they had royalty in the kitchen last night, as former winners Luca Manfe and Alexander Weiss returned to help with the Elimination Test and it ended like never before on MasterChef, so who went home on MasterChef 2014 last night? Last night on MasterChef 2014 Season 5, the home cooks started the night with the Mystery Box Challenge and it was even a mystery once the box was lifted! They were each given 52 cans of food, but with no labels! They had to create an amazing dish in 60 minutes using any of the canned foods and a limited pantry. Elizabeth has been quiet this season, as far as her cooking goes, but she said she grew up on canned food and this was going to be her time to shine. It worked, as she was declared the winner and got to pick the Elimination Test, which featured signature dishes from Luca and Andrew!

Half the home cooks had to create Luca’s dish (veal) and the other half had to create Andrew’s dish (panna cotta). Elizabeth picked the dishes and it all came down to one thing: stealing of the dish! Jaimee made three ramekins and put them in the fridge to settle. Tyler made four of them and put them in the fridge. In a “panic,” he went to the fridge and grabbed one of Jaimee’s on a different shelf. Because the home cooks have to present a dish that they cooked and Tyler presented a dish cooked by Jaimee, he technically cheated and was sent home!

I am torn on this one. He seemed genuine and he seemed like he did not really mean to do it and it was an accident. He apologized to Jaimee and even complimented her dish. It all seemed legit to me, but then how could he put four ramekins in the fridge and then grab only one and from a completely different shelf? Either way, Tyler was eliminated and 15 home cooks move on to next week!
