Last Comic Standing - Season 8

For this night, it was Wanda Sykes that sat down with the comedians to give them some tips and pointers before taking the stage. Amy Schumer was gone, so just Wanda. To be honest, I think these sessions are a great benefit to the comedians. I mean, how great is it to be able to sit down and chat with comedians that have been doing it for years? They get advice on what to improve upon or lose in their sets and then get to show the judges what they have learned!


The five comedians moving on to the finals of Last Comic Standing 2014 were:

  • Rocky LaPorte
  • DC Benny
  • Nikki Carr
  • Rod Man

Because of that, the nine comedians that went home on Last Comic Standing Season 8 last night were:

  • Zainab Johnson
  • Jasper Redd
  • Emily Galati
  • Tyree Elaine
  • Dave Landau
  • Dana Eagle
  • Gerald Kelly
  • Erin Jackson
  • Alignon Mitra

This was a weird night for me, as none of the eliminated contestants stood out to me. Last week I was shocked at some of the comedians that were eliminated, but tonight was alright with me. Sure, the eliminated comedians were good, but none of them are people I will miss in the competition!
