Last Comic Standing - Season 8

Last night on Last Comic Standing Season 8, it was Night 1 of the Semifinals. We saw 14 of the 28 remaining comedians take the stage and perform, but after sitting down with mentors Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes for some advice. It was nice knowing whatw as finally going to happen this season, as 14 comics would take the stage and the Last Comic Standing judges 2014 (Roseanne, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters) would discuss and send five of them on to the finals and the other nine comedians would be eliminated.


The five comedians moving on to the finals of Last Comic Standing 2014 were:

  • Monroe Martin
  • Joe Machi
  • Karlous Miller
  • Aida Rodriguez
  • Jimmy Shubert

Because of that, the nine comedians that went home on Last Comic Standing Season 8 last night were:

  • Mike Vecchione
  • Tommy Ryman
  • Chloe Hilliard
  • Mark Normand
  • Tracey Ashley
  • Yamaneika Saunders
  • Mike Gaffney
  • DeAnne Smith
  • Nick Guerra

I was surprised by some of these decisions, as a few of my favorites were sent home. We only saw a little bit of Tracey Ashley’s set tonight, but I thought she was funny and thought she would definitely be moving on after her Invitationals set! What do you think of the results on Last Comic Standing 2014 last night?
