Last Comic Standing - Season 8

Last night on Last Comic Standing 2014, I was a little torn with the judges’ picks and how they go about picking the comedians that move on. To be honest, there were some good comedians that had some pretty funny jokes and the judges sent them home. But then there were some comedians who didn’t look that strong and the judges sent them to the semifinals? What did they see that I did not?


To be honest, I think the producers are editing the footage to show only a joke here and there for some of them. Pete Lee is a great comic, but got only like 30 seconds of airtime last night on Last Comic Standing 2014. Then the judges send him home? The one joke I saw from him I enjoyed and wish he would have made it through!

In the end, the Last Comic Standing judges 2014 sent seven more comedians to the semifinals on Last Comic Standing Season 8. They were:

  • Tommy Ryman
  • Yamaneika Saunders
  • Mike Gaffney
  • Monroe Martin
