Under the Gunn 2014 Spoilers: Sneak Peek At New Tim Gunn Show (VIDEO)

With no Project Runway on the schedule right now, it looks like Lifetime needs another show to fill the spot and bring us something on fashion design, so they have brought in the talents of Tim Gunn and his new show Under the Gunn 2014! Tim goes from mentor to host in this new reality competition show, which features some Project Runway favorites (Mondo Guerra, Nick Verreos and Anya Ayoung-Chee) as mentors for a team of four up-and-coming fashion designers. This is a competition for all on Under the Gunn Season 1 and you can check out a sneak peek of the season below in our Under the Gunn 2014 spoilers!

Under the Gunn 2014 is a different type of competition show, unlike Project Runway, where the mentors are helping guide the designers every week. They will go through different challenges and will be eliminated on a weekly basis. In the end, one designer and their mentor will both win! Tim Gunn will serve as host of the show and the judges will be designer Rachel Roy; celebrity stylist Jen Rade, creator of some of the most iconic red carpet looks in Hollywood; and TV fashion correspondent and Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.

For winning Under the Gunn 2014, the designer receives “a cash prize of $100,000; a top of the line sewing and embroidery studio, courtesy of Brother International Corporation; an all-expense paid inspirational trip to Paris, courtesy of Blowpro the blowout experts, and Blowpro styling products; the opportunity to design the uniform for Benefit Cosmetics; a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine; a 2014 Lexus CT 200h; and the opportunity to design a collection sold exclusively at francesca’s®.” Not bad, huh?

The winning mentor on Under the Gunn Season 1 will receive “a 2014 Lexus CT 200h, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and a spot as guest editor for one year.” Not bad either, huh? That means both will be working hard on Under the Gunn 2014!
