Top Chef Kentucky 2019 Spoilers: Week 11 Sneak Peek (PHOTOS)
| February 14, 2019 at 10:44 AM ESTWith the chefs on Top Chef Kentucky 2019 in Kentucky, how can they not take part in a fried chicken challenge? That will be happening tonight, as we have guest judges Chef Art Smith and Laila Ali both helping out tonight on Top Chef Season 16! Check out some Week 11 sneak photos below in our Top Chef Kentucky 2019 spoilers!
Last week on Top Chef 2019, the Quickfire Challenge had them working as a team to break into a box using a code to retrieve some bouillon cubes, which would be the only seasoning they could create a dish using! Eddie won the challenge and actually won immunity for the week, as the Elimination Challenge was a 3-on-3 challenge at Rupp Arena, home of the Kentucky Wildcats! The teams had to create dishes for a stadium full of fans and the team with the most points after three rounds won. The big drama of the night was that both Adrienne and Sara decided to make chicken and waffles, but Sara used a boxed waffle mix and it got a lot of slack, even from the crowd. She was not happy and thought she was going home because of it, but instead, the judges eliminated her and her wet ribs. She headed off to compete in Last Chance Kitchen.
For Week 11 on Top Chef Season 16, here is the official synopsis from Bravo:
“Top Chef can’t go to Kentucky without taking a turn at fried chicken. Chef Art Smith guests judges a secret herbs and spices blind taste test ahead of the Quickfire fry-off. After the finger licking goodness, the Chefs turn their attention to another Kentucky legend, the Louisville Lip, boxer and philanthropist Muhammad Ali. Using his memorable fights as inspiration, the Chefs must make a progressive meal for a charity benefit at the Muhammad Ali Center for donors, the judges, and special guest Laila Ali.”
That fried chicken challenge is going to be a real test for some of these chefs. The pressure will be on, so check out a sneak peek here:
