The X Factor USA 2013 Top 13 Performances Spoilers Recap (VIDEO)

We tried this once on The X Factor USA 2013 last night, but we are going to try it all over again as the Top 13 on The X Factor USA Season 3 will take the stage tonight and perform for your votes, if they get the voting numbers right this time! Tonight was supposed to be the results show on The X Factor 2013, but the wrong voting numbers were displayed at the end of the show and because of that all the performances were scrapped from last night and they will do it all again tonight! Last night on The X Factor Season 3, the Top 12 became the Top 13 when the judges (Paulina Rubio, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and Kelly Rowland) discussed things and they thought Josh Levi still deserved to be on the show. He was a Wild Card and now we have 13 acts remaining on Season 3. They performed hits from Motown and were ready for results tonight, but now they sing again tonight.

The acts usually prepare a Save Me song, which they sing if they happen to land in the bottom two from America’s votes. Well, all 13 acts will be using their Save Me song this week, as it is the song they will be performing tonight and hope that America gets the right numbers and they vote for them! Here we go…we start out with Mario Lopez explaining the voting error and how the 13 acts will all be singing again for our votes….get it together The X Factor USA 2013.

Josh Levi (Boys) – He is singing “Stay” by Rihanna. This is the second straight performance where he took out all the production he had in the Four Chair Challenge and showed us that he can sing! He has a great voice and just needs to sing and forget about trying to dance and put on a show. That voice is his magic! Simon said that was a winning performance and he is very happy for him after that. Paulina showed why he needs to be on that stage.

Rachel Potter (Over 25s) – They show Rion Paige for the intro video. Yup, they still don’t have their crap together! She has a great voice, but this started out a little slowly. She kicked it in in the middle, but then it died off and kicked in again. She has a very good country voice and should get support from the country fans. Simon said the girl who sang last night was horrible and the girl who sang tonight was incredible. Kelly said beautiful job and she is so proud of her.

Carlos Guevara (Boys) – I love his story and think he can sing, but he is just awkward to me. I think this performance was better than last night, but I just can’t get on board with supporting him. The girls in the crowd love him and I think his story will get him a lot of votes, so he will be in the competition for a long time. Paulina said this performance has been the most amazing performance she has seen.

Restless Road (Groups) – This performance is definitely not going to stop the girls from screaming. I was not impressed with this group the last couple performances on The X Factor USA 2013, but they were taking on pop and Motown and they went back to country and nailed it. A great performance from them and the screams are legit tonight! Simon said this is the first time he thought they looked nervous, but they did great.

Ellona Santiago (Girls) – How can you hear anyone perform “Titanium” and not think of Pitch Perfect? My critique with Ellona has been that everything has been about putting on a show and she doesn’t show off her voice. This showed off her voice and I was not as impressed as I was in the past. I think she can sing and she hits some big notes, but not as great as I was hoping. Demi said she could not be more proud of her. Simon said that was her best performance she has done.

Jeff Gutt (Over 25s) – I wasn’t too sure of Jeff during the auditions and the Four Chair Challenge, but his performance last night on The X Factor USA Season 3 and tonight shows he is a strong competitor on this show. He has a great rocker voice and I am a fan. Kelly said he better get up there and rock it out. Simon said he has to work his phrasing out and Demi agrees.

Alex & Sierra (Groups) – I just love these two. They both have such amazing voices on their own, but then they make it work so well together. Simon may get a winner this season, or at least in my opinion. They are a group to be reckoned with and I love their style. They look so good together! Simon said that was immaculate and he loved the song choice and loved their chemistry and for the future they are choosing every one of their songs!

Khaya Cohen (Girls) – I am in love with her voice and she sounds so much like Amy Winehouse, but this song did not show that off. It did show that she can sing and I liked it. It started slow, but she kicked it in and showed some emotional connection to the song and I like that. Demi said she is a little Aretha and it is a pleasure to work with her every week.

Carlito Olivero (Boys) – This was a weird one for me. I think he does a great job and the way he hits some of those high notes is kind of amazing. He is still so damn pretty to look at! Paulina said tonight is a challenge for him because he is sick and he nailed it and did such a great job.

Lillie McCloud (Over 25s) – This is a little slow song for me and I am not a huge fan of it, however Lillie just sang the hell out of it! She has an amazing voice and that was just nailed by her. Simon said that is what you call a diva. Kelly said that is what you are supposed to do when you perform and crush it like that.

Sweet Suspense (Groups) – I am torn on these girls. I think they are good singers, but I just can’t see them together as a group. I think they are trying too hard together and just want to be solo artists and not part of a group. They harmonize well together in some parts. Simon said that was a very difficult song to sing and he wants everyone to remember their performances over the past few weeks.

Rion Paige (Girls) – Okay, so Rion picked to sing “Born This Way” and she picked it perfectly. This performance was so good and so cool how she made it country. She nailed it and the emotions were great. Yeah, I cried! She gets a standing ovation from the judges and a thumbs up from Simon. Demi said that was incredible and Simon told her to let her choose her songs from now on!

Tim Olstad (Boys) – I think Tim let down the walls a little bit tonight and this extra night of performances may help him. He showed more emotion and you can see that he wants this. This is a first from him, in my opinion. I actually liked him and he sounded great on this song. Paulina said his voice continues to impress her and America and they are voting for him.
