The acts on The X Factor USA 2013 have faced a few obstacles already this season, as they had a voting error and had to perform again during the first week of live shows and that meant three acts were eliminated last week on The X Factor USA Season 3. We now have the Top 10 on The X Factor 2013 and it is time for them to sing for our votes and face a double elimination tomorrow night! Two more acts will go home, so the pressure is high again! Watch the performances with us tonight during our The X Factor USA 2013 Top 10 Performances Spoilers Recap!

The X Factor 2013 Season 3 Spoilers - Top 10

Last week on The X Factor Season 3, we started things off with the elimination of Carlos Guevara and followed that up with the Top 12 performing for our votes. The next night the singers found out those results and Sweet Suspense and Rachel Potter were not fans of them, as they were both sent home!

That leaves us with ten acts trying to make it one step closer to being named the winner of The X Factor USA 2013. The only real act standing out to me are Alex & Sierra, who I love as a group, but would anyone run out and buy their CD? Would anyone really run out and buy a CD from any of the acts remaining this season?

***************************************************************

Here we go…the acts will be taken over by a British Invasion Week, as they all sing songs from singers from the U.K. tonight!

Jeff Gutt (Over 25s) – “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen

Simon Cowell told him last week that he needs to come out of his comfort zone. Kelly Rowland said this song will push him out of his comfort zone. Kelly sends Jeff to her boxing trainer for the week to get him in shape for this performance. This is such an iconic song, so it will be hard for Jeff to take on and not sure if he can hit those big notes. They avoided some of the big notes with this performance and the one he did have did not sound good. This was entertaining, but that damn background music overpowers the singers so much at times on this show and it did for Jeff tonight!

Tim Olstad (Boys) – “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John

Tim said that he liked his performance last week and was hoping for raving reviews, but then the judges did not give him great reviews. He tok some time and video chatted with his family to help bring his spirits up. He wants to take a risk tonight, so he will be sitting down and playing the piano along with his performance. I have said this over and over again, but Tim has a great voice and can sing, but he is not right for this show. This was boring and I was ready for him to be done.

Khaya Cohen (Girls) – “Let It Be” by The Beatles

She was in the bottom last week and does not want to be there again on The X Factor USA 2013. She thinks that she is not coming off as likable, but she wants to show them that she is likable and deserves to be here. I am a huge fa of Khaya’s voice and was shocked she was in the bottom last week, but this performance is not going to make her more likable. It did not fit her style and was slow and boring. Come on people!

Josh Levi (Boys) – “Sweet Dreams” by The Eurythmics

Kelly Rowland told him that he needs to get out of his mind and stop thinking about it all. His Mom and sister moved out to L.A. with him for him to pursue his dreams, so he is feeling the pressure. Paulina Rubio wants him to let go and enjoy this moment. I think Josh has found his niche, but he doesn’t want to overkill it either. This started rough for me, but it kicked in and he worked it out. I am impressed with him, but he is trying to be Justin Bieber a little too much for my liking.

Alex & Sierra (Groups) – “Best Song Ever” by One Direction

Simon had some harsh words for them last week, which was hard for them to hear coming from their mentor. They are taking on a popular pop song and are nervous, but they want to work hard and make it better than last week on The X Factor Season 3. Also, One Direction is in the house and will hear them cover their song! These two are just amazing and I loved them last week and loved them again tonight. They made this song their own and made a pop song change to a slow song with their great voices!

Rion Paige (Girls) – “Your Song” by Elton John

Demi Lovato said she needs to just be herself and let her guard down. Demi sees it and got goosebumps from her during rehearsals. Simon doesn’t know why Demi isn’t picking songs more suited for Rion’s country voice. Rion is only 13 years old, but she pulls out those emotions of the lyrics. She gave me goosebumps with this performance and she made and Elton John song into a country song! I loved it.

Carlito Olivero (Boys) – “Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones

Carlito got some bad reviews last week from the judges, but he said he has been there before and been at rock bottom, so this is nothing new to him. He said that Mick Jagger didn’t worry about anyone when he performed, so he is going to try and go up there and do the same thing. This one started so strong for me and I was loving it, but then it seemed to drag on and he never took it anywhere. I loved the TV screens and having him on their dancing. He does some sexy dance moves to end it though!

Lillie McCloud (Over 25s) – “This Woman’s Work” by Kate Bush

Lillie had not heard of this song before, but Kelly thinks that it is perfect for her. Lillie is feeling out of her comfort zone and is struggling during the rehearsals. Simon thinks it is the wrong song choice for her on The X Factor USA 2013. She looks beautiful tonight and that white dress is stunning. She has an amazing voice and is so strong, but is that connection to the song there? She has her moments, but then seems distant at other points.

Ellona Santiago (Girls) – “Burn” by Ellie Goulding

Simon said last week that he wants to see less choreography and more vocals because she has a great voice. In rehearsals, Demi said that she can tell she doesn’t really know the song and it is a disaster right now! Ellona said she gets her confidence from dancing, so now that she isn’t this week it is hard for her. For me, I don’t think Ellona has that strong of vocals to show off. She always puts on a big production, but the vocals aren’t great. She shows that in this performance. Let’s end it on a big note and hopefully make us forget?

Restless Road (Groups) – “Fix You” by Coldplay

Zach tends to be awkward on stage and the judges called him out on it. He tried to work it out this week, as the boys went out on the streets and had him try and pick up some ladies. How staged can this stuff be??? I used to like these guys, but they are annoying me more and more every week. They seem to be setup to win this season and they are not putting on performances that make them winners. Anyone agree?
