Taking a cue from the sinking ship of American Idol, The X Factor USA 2013 has decided to do themes this season and I have no clue why because themes don’t work for Idol and it makes the singers take on songs they have never even heard of before. The X Factor USA 2013 Spoilers - Top 8 Preview

Last week on The X Factor Season 3, the acts took on British Invasion Week and sang music from artists from the U.K. To add to it, we got a special performance from One Direction during the results show. Who doesn’t love a One Direction performance, right? In the end, another two acts were eliminated and it was just as I predicted! Check out your Top 8 on The X Factor USA 2013 before they take the stage tonight and perform again for your votes!


For this week’s performances, the Top 8 will be taking on Big Band songs, which should bring us some songs from way back in the day. I think this is beyond a stupid idea. The show is trying to make a pop star and Simon Cowell complains about Lillie McCloud looking old-fashioned and dating herself, but then they do this theme???

To go with the theme, we will get a special performance by Michael Buble during the results show on Thursday night, also Thanksgiving night. Yup, the show that gets no ratings, as is, is not backing down and making us do work on a holiday….ugh!
