You voted them in and now your votes will take them out, as the bottom two singers each week will go home and teams don’t matter any more. Did Shakira, Usher, Blake Shelton or Adam Levine build the strongest team on The Voice 2013 Season 4? Find out tonight during our The Voice USA Season 4 Top 12 Performances Spoilers Live Recap!

The Voice - Season 4

I loved this switch The Voice did during Season 3 and how anyone could go home and not one person from each team every week! It makes it better knowing a weaker team might not survive just because we need a finale of every team.

The Top 12 aren’t all on their own though, as their coach is still there to guide them and help with their performances, but they can’t save them any more! Watch it with us in our Live Recap starting soon!

Here we go…

Vedo (Team Usher) – “Rock With You” by Michael Jackson

He says he wants to be a pop artist and wants America to see that. It’s been a rough road for Vedo and he wants to show people you can get out of it. Usher brought in his choreographer to work with Vedo during rehearsals. I think Vedo has a great voice and could be a big star, but I think he needs to focus more on his voice and less on the dance moves. I think he can work those in eventually, but I think it took away from his performance this time around. Shakira thinks that the work he did with his coach paid off though.

Holly Tucker (Team Blake) – “A Broken Wing” by Martina McBride

Holly recorded a CD when she was 13 years old and has made several records, so Blake said this shows she is a true artist. She has a beautiful country voice and looks gorgeous tonight. This might have been a perfect song choice for her and she sounds so good. She has a great tone in her voice and I love it!

Garrett Gardner (Team Shakira) – “I Want It That Way” by Backstreet Boys

Garrett was not expecting this song, but he thinks it could be fun to put a twist on such a popular song. Can this song choice hurt him on The Voice USA Season 4? I actually enjoyed it and I have not enjoyed Garrett that much this season. He does put a rock twist on a popular boy band song, so props to him on that. I like his version and I think he will sell a lot of copies of it on iTunes!

Sara Simmons (Team Adam) – “The Story” by Brandi Carlile

Sarah did pageants as a kid, just to have a moment to sing. Adam wants to see her rock out this week, but not overscream it too much. This song started a little slow for me, but I still love Sarah’s voice. She kicks it in big time in the middle and I loved it. She has that scream to her voice, but it is a good thing and she knocked it out of the park. Great song choice for her!

The Swon Brothers (Team Blake) – “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes” by George Jones

This is the first duo to make the live shows on The Voice 2013. George Jones just passed away, so they want to do this in tribute to him because it was the first concert they ever went to. This was an acoustic version of the song and they sounded great together. It was raw and simple, but I think it showed off their voices and for the first time we saw that these guys can really sing. I am a fan now.

Sasha Allen (Team Shakira) – “Alone” by Heart

Shakira picked this song because it goes high in parts and she wants her to attack this song as a pop song and she picked up on a Broadway sound, which Sasha actually did work on before. To be honest, I have not been a fan of Sasha for most of the season. She has impressed me at times, but most of the time it feels like she is just screaming at me and not in a good way. This was one of those times I felt the screaming was too much or is it just me?

Josiah Hawley (Team Usher) – “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by The Script

His mom is the one who pushed him to sing, so she is happy to be having viewing parties every week now! Josiah wanted to make it more intimate and sing acoustic. He sits down and plays the guitar and just sings and I enjoy it. I have liked his voice in the past, but clearly his looks brought him to the Top 12 on The Voice Season 4. This showed off his voice and I am loving the acoustic choices tonight!

Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake) – “Wasted” by Carrie Underwood

She wants to be a country pop artist and she could never imagine being here. Blake wants to see the limits in how far Danielle can go. Danielle is a new singer, yet has the voice of a veteran. She has a beautiful voice and will be a big country star someday. This looked effortless for her and I think she will gain the younger vote and go far this season. What do you think?

Judith Hill (Team Adam) – “You’ve Got A Friend” by Carole King

This is the first time someone has sung a song for Team Adam without the help of the band, as she takes it on behind the piano. Judith has always been a frontrunner for this season and if you don’t think so, then watch this performance and question your own thoughts. She has an amazing voice and was so simple on this vocal, but it was so good. I don’t think she oversang it and just put on a show right there. Season 4 winner?

Michelle Chamuel (Team Usher) – “Call Your Girlfriend” by Robyn

She said she is deeply honored that America voted her through. Usher thinks this song choice will help her connect. She said she struggles with stage fright. If she has stage fright, it is hard to see when she performs. She always seems so confident and I loved this performance. I am a fan of Michelle and think she has a great story. She represents what The Voice means and she has a great voice. Get it Michelle!

Kris Thomas (Team Shakira) – “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson 5

Kris was about to sign with the Navy, but something was holding him back. Then he got the call from The Voice USA Season 4 and he figured out his calling. I think this was a good song choice for his higher range voice, but I also think he feel a little short for me. I think he tried to go real high at times and it didn’t quite work for him. Did you enjoy it?

Amber Carrington (Team Adam) – “I’m Going To Love You Through It” by Martina McBride

Amber wants to be a country singer that crosses over to pop, so she thinks Adam is the perfect choice for her. She was adamant in singing this song because it touched her heart and Adam let her go with it. The country girls showed their strengths tonight and this was a great performance from Amber. I think she has come on strong the past couple weeks and proven she could possibly win this thing. What did you think?

That’s it for tonight, so get out and vote. What did you think of the Top 12 on The Voice USA Season 4?
