Here we go…no more Instant Save tomorrow night, so your votes tonight is all that count! Three singers move on to the finale next week and two singers go home tomorrow night! We start the night with the Top 5 on The Voice USA 2013 taking the stage to sing “Best Day Of My Life” by American Authors. This is clearly suited for some certain voices and one might be Will Champlin, who sounded so good on this one. Cole’s mic seemed to be not working properly and Tessanne outshines Jacquie.

James Wolpert (Team Adam) – “With or Without You” by U2

James was saved by America last week and Adam Levine said he will never be there again. This song has never been done before on the show and Adam thinks it is in the right hands. It looks like James grew out some scruff for us tonight, maybe to look a little more manly and gain some votes that way? He does sing this song very well and has some great moments with it, but then I was bored at other moments. Adam said he doesn’t even compare about the competition and that was beyond even what he thought he could do.

Will Champlin (Team Adam) – “Carry On” by Fun.

Tessanne said that Will is a walking instrument and he is always pushing himself, which makes her want to be better. Adam thinks this song gives him a chance to give everything vocally. He thinks Will’s biggest challenge is not physical, but mental and he needs to let go sometimes. This was a weird one for me, as he really had a different arrangement from the original and made it his own and sounded good. I liked that, but then I wanted some of the original in there. Great job though.

Jacquie Lee (Team Christina) – “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan

Christina wants her to be that voice that just lets everyone escape for a moment. Christina tells her to pull back and show that emotion. I am so over Jacquie and her screaming, so hoping she tunes it down some tonight on The Voice USA 2013. I actually enjoyed this performance and liked how she held back from those huge notes that she normally goes for. When she just sits back and is calm, she is a good singer. Then she went wild towards the end and I was annoyed, but ends softly. Christina said she showed the most vocal dynamic and performance of the season and she won tonight in her heart.

Cole Vosbury (Team Blake) – “Shameless” by Garth Brooks

Blake thinks this song has all the parts that make up Cole. Cole thinks this song is perfect and it is soft and sweet, but gets huge at the end. Cole came to win tonight and this was a great song choice for him on The Voice 2013. He sounded great on it and it fit his vocals so well. He did rock out as much at the end as he said he would, but the vocals were still great.

Tessanne Chine (Team Adam) – “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel

Adam said she has done all genres of music, but this one gives her the ultimate platform. She gets emotional during rehearsals over all the stress of this competition and gets a big hug from her coach Adam Levine and I am super jealous! What Tessanne does is just get up there and sing and makes it look effortless. She is amazing and that was flawless. She hits those big notes, but doesn’t scream them. That was beyond amazing and can we give her the crown now???
